I'm seriously confused about you using Gyeon PPF RENEW on matte paint. Can you please explain to me why that product works for matte paint, because per product description : "while leaving a smooth, glossy finish" and "it restore gloss and slickness", which is exactly what you DO NOT want to accomplish. Thanks in advance.
It looks to me that he did in fact polish the matte paint slightly. It’s definitely glossier. I only hand apply for my matte paint. Even with being careful, wiping with microfiber towels just to wash has slightly polished my paint. Although, you could argue that’s part of the appeal of matte paint. Wears in and takes on its own look. I also avoid any products that add shine. I will test in an inconspicuous area first.

Shame it wasn’t in a worse state beforehand as I really can’t tell the difference. I guess that will often be the case with Matt finish though. However still some great tips there 👍🏼
I have a 2017 T100 Black 22,000 miles washed about 3 times 😆 so I think I’d be a great before/after.

Hi , For Paint Correction I prefer “ Menzerna “ Product, .. Matte surface only cleaning or protection can’t do any heavy cut or paint correction , Matte I use before Gyeon PPF Renew for cleaning the matte surface and then Coating , if only protection wax I more prefer Chemical Guys “ jet seal matte “ because easy apply & easy wipe off..
What kind of compound could you use to polish matte paint?

No. If it disappears when wet, you might be able to airbrush matte clear coat over the scratch.

@@reddetails8287 That was my point, PPF Renew has abrasives and also protective components. IDK that it is something I would use on matte ppf nor before a coating.
