How to make a good heli:
Step 1: use ZE Heli Controller

I love this guy, not just because he is kind and has Simple tutorials. but, he also responds frequently to comments.

We NEED resizable rotors. None of the sizes ever fits any of my builds right
aged well
you can already re-size the blades of the rotors in stormworks, you just need to select the rotor using the select tool and use the size slider to increase or decrease the size of the blades to whatever size you want

I would like to have 3x1 curved block. That would really help with building. And obviously more windows. Hope that V1 will have more windows :)

And also to add, i really like the way you do it without timelapse or anything. You show us your thought process and we can relate to it way better.
It looks like huey, a modern upgrade of some sort. Everything exept the roof looks so to say identical.
I'd say to add a radio, winch above one of side doors, a winch for connecting water tank and a search light under the nose's. Great video looking forward to the rest of the build keep it up NJ 👍

I'm a huge fan of the Huey and this is probably my favorite build I've seen you do. I'm looking forward to the next episode
Look at the canadien griffon helo, its our main army helo and was used for sar for a long time.
i think the griffen is the best looking model of the hueys to come out yet wish NJ would have set it up with the duel exhaust instead of the single would look way better
dnoginizr4 i do agree but i think there is a size constraint for the exaust
@@cassias456 well he did say that they wont be functional so having the outside look like theres 2 wouldnt add to much more to it. Just make it look like theres 2 engines side by side the easiest way to remove functionality would be to off set the exhausts from the main engine, it would only be 6 blocks wide

the huey from real life has to blades on the main rotor and tail rotor so you got one right at least

Maybe the rear rotor is a bit too high up, and you might wanna move it in so it’s flush with the tail fin and doesn’t stick out, otherwise it’s a beautiful thing
Also i made a firetruck and i forgot to put exhaust but it still worked xD
You should put mi i guns on it and make it in to a military helicopter with working guns on it if storm works gets a weapon update

Build a sky crane with different attachments for it like a big tank of water or a medical bay
Not a huey looks more like a newer bell venom but still looks really nice just nothing like a huey (also you said the huey is a small helicopter and no it's actually fairly big)

Can you make a A-10 as two variants first completely just surveillance that can circle a target with cameras then one with the weapons update when it comes but I just really love the a-10 and I think you'd make a really good looking one plz plz build one

Is it okay I may be copying this in stormworks?
I've asked around everywhere and got no answer so I'll give it a shot here, whenever I build a heli and try to take off it always rolls violently in one direction. Why does this happen?

I've kind of been holding off on my builds for 2 reasons; I want to wait for new 1.0 parts to shape with, and 2, I have a decentish laptop and am hoping to get a good sale soon for a new PC.
Black Friday is around the corner and PC components always get super good deals if you're still waiting for a good sale :)

This was one of my first creations, i did it with a sort of "mechanical rotor", i don't know how to explain this, but let get a look by yourself if you want. My nickname is killman88 on steam.
Helpful as always, my only problem is controls, theyre pretty sensitive, even with auto hover on. Any advice on this?

What happened to the patrol boat build?
I think the tail rotor is too high up. i think it should be a block down.
on most helicopters you cant get out of the hoist without falling can you make it so this does not happen
my helos usually look extremely square
What were the pid settings?

Uhh a heli should be jet or engine like jet consumes 1 medium tank in 20 sec 1 medium engine in about 3-4 min...
