Top speed depends on the variant of the huey. The H model has a cruise speed of approximately 108 knots with a never exceed speed of 117 knots. The twin Huey N model has a top speed of 119 knots
Max speed for a huey is 110 knots, might be diferent for other version, for instance the ch-146 go about 120 to 140 kt ish. As always nice job cant wait to see the finished product.
There is a magical function that I quite love alot in stormworks called selection grid if you cut something with it and paste it on the creation it retains all the connections on it saving you a heap of time having to rewire it. It has saved me countless hours trying to move logic around my creations without needing to worry about reconnecting things
Instead of turning the autopilot off when you get within a certain distance have it use roll and pitch to stay on the point. If your steering value is from -1 to 1 (-1/1 directly behind you and 0 directly in front) you can multiply it by Pi and then cos of that will be pitch and sin will be roll. I then multiply those values by the distance to the point and I can get a creation perfectly on the point.
Could you do a video on connecting multiple ships like a barge. I created one but the magnetic connectors glitch out and wont let the vehicle turn a full 360
On the same axis as the length of the helicopter hull. It extends on this axis to much and can be seen as "thick." I am not talking about any vertical or horizontal width axis, I know there is a limit to how thin you can make things, but this can be fixed.
I really liked this build and following along, but you really, really need to show how you did the all of the logic and electrical. I followed along step by step and did almost everything you did except for the doors. You just skipped over the logic like it was second-nature to everyone watching. It is extremely frusturating to me because it feels like I just wasted the past three hours. I'm going to keep watching regardless, but right now I just have a helicopter that can't move with a bunch of dials and monitors that don't do anything.

I'd love a chinook tutorial.
He has built a couple but i dont think he has a tutorial
Funny enough that's what I decided to currently build. It's been fun. Pretty easy to set up, hard to make great tho
Would you support the add on of more wedges? Any particular measurements appeal to you?
1×3 2x3 3x3 3x6 6x6
I NEED THEM!!!!
I would like new windows soooo much more because windows can duck up your creation really fast
1x3
Drink game:take a shot everytime nj says "i was thinking"
Or when touring a creation he says “it looks like”
you'd be hammered by the quarter-way mark.
At end of autopilot last waypoint, Hover and orbit option would be awesome actually. :-)
Looks awesome, Cant wait for 1.0, as for the AP, i would say let it just hover around the point till you turn it off, i like it that way. but thats me
i like the grey colour scheme
Maybe you could make the autopilot loiter around the location once it gets there?
Like a nice lil circle?
How do you move the logic around without breaking the connections? Or did you just place it again and reconnect it once you'd found the spot?

Stay safe 😉
man, you are beyond a good builder lol
No legs is the best
Love your Videos.
Dude with all the stuff you make, I can imagine one day you will make a yacht with a helicopter and like, a limo or something.
Don't forget that everything on the yacht is able to be remote controlled
Could you upload the touchscreen Gimbal camera controller please? thanks

Great Video, Just wondering when this will be on the workshop
Maybe have the autopilot do an orbit around the final waypoint?
luv ur vids
Naybe put some missiles on small ones
But like it's a rescue helicopter
Lol
Hey mrnjersey did you do the poll yet
Hey mrnjersey, top speed of a huey is 110 knots, so you are a little fast but that's ight
I just built a huey and now i think i need to upgrade it
the night vision symbol lookin kinda sus
Functions too good.
Try making a Mi-26 halo or ch-53 super stallion

Sorry is it just me or did he have 40k subscribers YESTERDAY?!
I say let the helicopter hover over the waypoint. After all, what is a helicopter but an aircraft that hovers?
Im pretty sure your tail rotor is on the wrong side
Link to the camera controller ? Pls
Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Constructive comment: why is the tail so big? On the reference images, the end vertical portion of the tail is much thinner.
You can only make things so thin in Stormworks
Not that axis
I mean lengthwise its thick
Totally not Keith What do you mean lengthwise it’s thick? Like long?

Totally not Keith oh ok
That camera infuriates me
Hueys look weird painted anything other than olive drab.
I tried to replicate this build and whenever I start my engine my helicopter just starts spinning. Help pls
Check your tail rotor. You may have it backwards. Press U to reverse it.
Can we have a telemetry tutorial plz
me like
add on the workshop
makes me realize im never gonna learn all the concepts in this game and too uninstall lol
