We are continuing "TE form" that we learnt from the first video ( • #13 Request (TE) form... ).
This time we are conjugating verbs that have む,ぶ and ぬ endings.
We'll learn how to say "I live in _____", "I'm hanging out with friends" and much much more!!! :)
With this "TE form" you can make :
1. Request form (e.g. Please eat)
2. Present continuous (e.g. I'm eating now)
and much much more :D
Please don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and LIKE the videos :)
I read all the comments and I appreciate them all xx

Hi,fantastic as always, can't find a better teacher that goes into the depth and sentence structure that you do, you must put so much time into your videos?thank you very much :)keep up the excellent work :)
I hope your Japanese is at a intermediate level by now. After watching her videos.
These videos are fantastic, thank you! They are definitely helping learning become a bit more manageable.
Considering the considerable effort you put in, I should at least follow directions. アメリカに住んでいる。
hey robert its been 3 years since you commented this and im wondering how did your japanese turn out? i hope you didnt quit
I hope your Japanese is at a intermediate level by now. After watching her videos.
nobody here mentioned the famous line from fist of the north star?
omae wa mo shin de iru!!!
lol easiest teh form for me to remember
Yes!
If shindeiru means "to be dead," how would you say dying? Like if "Kare wa shindeiru," means "He is dead;" how do you say, "he is dying." Thanks to anyone who can answer, and thank you, Misa-sensei! (And sorry I don't have a hiragana typewriter!)

Misa: Right, we‘re doing TE form again
Me: 😢
Misa: I sing a song in this Video

OH so now I know how the meme works ! お前は,もう死んでいる (you are aleady dead)
2 years later and I'm having the same revelation
After learning about the "wa" particle, the word "mou" and the te form of "shinu" across all the videos my life is complete.
Omae wa mou shindeiru
Now i know what Bakugou from Boku no Hero Academia means every time he says "SHINDEEEEE!!" XD
exactly my thoughts
I'm pretty sure he says 死ね (shine) though.
I've seen that って a lot and now I finally know what that is. thx

Can I ask you a question? Recently, while I was studying Japanese, I read that there's a plain form for です, だ. But informally I see we can just omit ですand that's fine. What about だ, then? D:
だ is not the casual form of です。To make it informal, you just remove the です。だ serves as a way to give a declarative intonation to your speech and it can only be used after nouns and na-adjectives.
Omae wa mo shindeiru
*N A N I*
I was looking for the meme in the comments
mou, not mo.
With 'mo' it means 'You're dead too' )
nice, but please correct "mo" to "mou" :)

I'm a little confused with the に particle here. Why do we use に instead of で? Is it just because 住む itself needs に or is it because of いる?
I am also doing rosetta stone witch dosent give you an explanation just pictured and this explains so much
I have a question:
If 「死んでいる」 means "to be dead", then how would you say "I'm dying right now"?
Like for ex.: "Omg, it's so hot. I'm dying."
(Or don't you do that in Japan?)

住んで (sunde) sounds funny, especially with how Japanese pronounce the 'u'. It makes it sound exactly like the German word 'Sünde', which means 'sin' ^^

funny thing that the country ''United States of America'' doesn't actually have a name. They call themselves ''Americans'' but America is a continent and has 35 countries in it. I'm from Brazil, thus, I'm American as well.

thanks to Misa and Hatsune Miku, I am now able to use the TE-form properly! Seeing the five different videos with the different endings and cases scared me initially, but it's not as hard as it seems. ありがとうミサ先生!カナダに住んでいます!

I'm quite confused. What's the difference between
#1 にほん で すむ / すみます and
#2 にほん に すんでいます / すんでいる.
The first sentence (because of the で) means "where the action takes place" and we use verb's masu / ru/u forms when it's occur in present or in the future. Then if I guess it right, the 2nd one also should mean the same, according this video, is it?
死ぬ is certainly not a nice words. But as soon as you said that, I remember 健四郎 from 北斗の拳 saying お前はも死んでいる。
porando ni sunde ru
スコットランドにすんでいる。
Great lesson, as always. So, shouldn't shindeiru mean "dying"? or is there a different verb for that?
