Small video in Dutch language explaining how I programmed an ATtiny85 to work as a function decoder with a single address and a tested with my ESU ECOS-controller with DCC protocol. Subtitiles in English are fairly accurate :-)
This is quite a cheap solution since the ATtiny cost me about 3,50 euro and the optocoupler which we will need in the wagon together with a bridge rectfier costs 1,50 and 1,50 euro, with maybe an additional mosfet or relay to work with the old lamps. So for less than 10 euro, you have a function decoder :-)
