It was just after midnight in London, I was about to go to bed, but The Andrea Motis Quintet was playing tonight.
It felt like I was transported to Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in the 80's. So I grabbed a Scotch and ice, sat back and enjoyed the second set.

Playing in the Big Apple must have been a grand experience for Chamorro & co. Getting the world to comprehend the real jazz experience that this group gives us all in these days of uber technology is never going to be forgotten Their mark is already so indelible!
Wow! Wow! Wow!!! Joan thank you so much for this one. This was truely a thrill for me because i was there. Most of us had to fly there to see the show. This was one of the very best jazz sets i have ever seen !!!!! Was nice meeting all of you and please please please come back soon !!! Absolutely incredible !!!!!!
So well organized. What a jazz vocal genius Andrea has become and so young, age 25. And Great trumpeter. The entire group are top notch professionals.

When the band broke into "Brazil" I about fell out of my chair hearing creative minds at work. Very impressed with Pi's drumming throughout.

This could be so much better, Dr. Chomorro, if you would also play the baritone saxophone for us while also playing the string bass. You should work on that. I'm quite sure you could do it, considering all the other music miracles you accomplish.
