I’m pretty sure it’s layered so the sound plays over itself giving that echo/multiplying effect
He made a video a long time ago on how he explains on how he secretly adds the multiplying noise when you dont expect it. I cant unsee it some times. He would just move his fingers on top the mic and just play the audio and it's really relaxing.

Two years ago I was in a really bad state of mind, not able to write even one word of my thesis. And that's when I found asmr and especially your channel, which today I can say, I wouldn't have made it through this time the way I did, If it weren't for you and your videos (especially that one video 'Removing negative vibes' did so so much for me, which I would really love to see more of).

Your tapping instincts are great. Some artists don’t truly understand tapping & how arrentive to detail you have to be to make tapping effective. That’s my thought on that:)

I enjoy listening to ASMR because of the pleasant sounds though I haven't had tingles in a very long, LONG time since I first started watching ASMR religiously (lights like a doctor visit checking your eyes use to be a HUGE trigger for me that sadly no longer works :c)--but the scrunchy exfoliating gloves were the CLOSEST I've felt to tingles in years! I definitely would love to hear them again~

The black cloves are called "potato peeling gloves" (atleast in finland), when you peel potatoes your hand wont get dirty but you can still wash them while holding them and getting good grasp of them.
