Well, I don't have too strong feelings about the game. I jumped into the game under the belief that it'll be a survival horror game like Dead Space or Resident Evil games. It turned out to be a walking simulator. There's no combat, no puzzles to solve, no monsters to run from. Your guy can't even run, he just walks fast instead. The game features the Quick-Time Events feature which I personally hate in video games. There are some contextual actions (like pressing a button, climbing, examining objects etc.) The graphics are beautiful, albeit not record-breaking. The game's made in Unreal Engine 5. That should speak enough about what you can expect in terms of graphical quality. I played the game on high settings, but I had to lower the resolution down a bit since I was getting unsteady frame rates, dropping to as low as 40 fps at times. But the DLSS option helped me improve the image quality while keeping the frame rater steady at +60fps. So, I never got the impression I was playing at a lower resolution. The story is decent, kind of like those outer space station horror movies wherein the protagonist finds himself trapped in an abandoned space station with a bloody mystery to solve. It's revealed to you in the form of video recordings and voice notes that you got to meticulously pay attention to in order to make sense of what happened at the eponymous station on Mars. The voice acting is great though. It features the likes of Roger Clark (the VA of Arthur Morgan from RDR2) and Troy Baker (I am sure you already know of his many works). All in all, if you have finished a rather intense game and need a palate cleanser before you start another intense game, this is the game for you.
you definitely pick games I don't know about and get me interested in them lol. I'll have to watch bit by bit but it looks ok. How did you like it?
