  • A planned PCI of the RCA for complete revascularization after anterior STEMI turned into a big surprise when the severe lesions in the RCA all disappeared. We suspect this was a case of unusual severe coronary vasospasm, or Prinzmetal angina (also known as variant angina or vasospastic angina). We discuss triggers, treatment, and medications to avoid.
