How am I doing? I'm doing some research on certain models to distinguish which years were best. Ken are you familiar with the 93' Honda CR500? Was that a good year for the bike & did it come with an optional white color graphics? Looking forward to what bikes you post on here in the future! 😀👍
Denny all the cr500s rock! 85 to 2001 are the years of the liquid cooled monsters. 89 & up have usd forks, 93 was a good year, find a good one bro, you cant go wrong!
Come on man! It's all good you're trying to sell a bike or talk about it but we know damn well that thing cant wheelie in three years let alone one. Also Factory new 20 horsepower. After riding the bike for a while it's down to 15 horsepower. And whoever punched that exhaust lost back pressure so there goes some more horsepower. I've got one it's great for trails or to get around town. That's about it you know that thing is super sketch at 65 miles an hour. Come on man again stop trying to play it up to make a sale
Great bike, couldn't get mine to wheelie In one gear, let alone three, and the spokes cannot stand up to anything other than non-Impact dirt riding, other than that It truly Is great a commuter, good In traffic and up to 95 mph on the expressway!
Cool. We used to call them the ( Xtreme tortoise.) At one shop I worked at. I have to ask.. Has anyone ever seen a Husqvarna 360AT?? A friend had one back in the day and it was so weird. It was an automatic 3 speed 360cc 2 stroke.. I remember dragging it out of this gnarly single track with my cr500 because his gear box got so hot it welded gears to the case. He never got it fixed and I've never seen another one. Not to mention the Cooper 250 I used to have that never existed so I'm told. It's funny, I had a Cooper 250 and saw one in dirt bike magazine. They rated it in the top 5 worst bikes in the world. Lol. Still, I have never seen another one. Let me know if any of u have ever heard of or seen a Cooper250 or a Husqvarna 360AT. Thanks.
I have a 2004 XT225. This bike is OK, but in general XT225 is a low quality bike. I have had oil leaks and many other problems with this bike even though I bought this new.
I wonder how much it sold for. An absolutely beautiful motorcycle. I'd like to find a 2005. My favorite year.
I have this exact bike and I would not trade it for anything. It's reliable trust worthy and great starter motorcycle
I like the locking gas cap back in the late 80s I had an ex-girlfriend chunk a snickers bar in my Gas tank
Just bought the same thing. Love it
Seems weird 2005 , has mods done then gets riden just over 300 miles WTF
Great video. Still need to travel to the states and visit 🇬🇧
Love the bike. Can you suggest what rear fender can we use for trail setup?
Wish that was out here in Vegas with an xt600. Great bikes.
Ya might think I’m crazy but out of all my bikes my favorite was my 83 XT 550 you know the bike
I agree with a 200 class enduro. I have 1998 Honda XR 250. It rips, and is an awesome trail bike.
im looking to buy one xt 225! i sold my tw200 thought i wounder whats better

Total nonsense. They wheelie perfectly well as just shown in this video. Spokes are fine and top end on these is around 70 tucked.
