Excellent video! I can't count how many Excedrin I have had to swallow when attempting to join bias ends before stumbling upon your video. Finally I understand from this tutorial and the very good camera angles. No hands blocking the view.
This is genius!!! Yesterday I was cutting some bias strips for a garment and I "suffered and struggle" a lot heheheheh. I wish I've seen this video before. Thanks!!
Thank you so much for the explanation of why a bias binding is better. I've watched a lot of videos but had never heard the reason for using bias binding (I don't sew yet). I would have liked to have seen you sewing the strips together though.

I am in love with this ruler. The best investment I made this year!! And the video is great. I watch it every time I put a binding on.
Sarah, I really enjoy your way of teaching.
Good tutorial but would have been superb had the joining of the bias strips had been shown before attaching it to quilt.

Happy to hear that you have put the binding tips to use!

You are welcome! ~Sara~
Wish I had saw this tutorial a couple of hours ago when I was trying to join my binding on my quilt with the scalloped border!
At least you have some information that will help on the next binding.
