i kinda get hitting the side of the back board on a corner three, but hitting the top of the back board on a mid range more then once in a full season is just unfathomable
Only basketball I've ever played was from 5 to 10 years old, picked it up again by myself just this year, I seriously can't think of an occasion where I hit the top of the backboard on a mid range shot, that's just unbelievable

biggest things i noticed besides missed shots: •westbrook didn’t look like his old self (scoring and passing wise) •miscommunication (especially between russ and ad) it seems that westbrook never really developed chemistry with the team or with ad cause every time he passed to him ad wasn’t paying attention, also westbrook’s passes were always too high and inaccurate
Russ has always had these shooting problems, but he makes up for it in volume. For miscommunication, I’ll agree to that with AD. But he also just tries to lob it for the easy alley oop and get an assist. Russ also is falling asleep way too much on off ball defense
the thing is, this happens with every team throughout the season at some point, but i wouldn’t be surprised if all this footage was just from one game with the lakers last year

That Grizzlies play was where you could see the team had lost all faith in Russ. Man was wide open in the corner and Monk wouldn’t even look over there.
The front office made some very costly decisions to trade away a bunch of young players in exchange for aged veterans. I didn’y expect the Lakers to have such a mighty collapse, I was expecting 5th seed at best and 8th seed at worst.
