Queen of new westminister is a V class single ended ship. This is the Queen of Alberni. Yea the MES systems they have installed now are incredible. Quick, safe, and VERY efficient. And, you can use them to pick up a large load of people if say another ferry or cruise ship were to be in distress. You can actually walk back up the slide.
I've evac'ed down these its a rush, nearly boucned out of the receiving platform into the first raft brought in. Way better than the original vertical chute.

it's fine in calm sea but in rough seas I think it would be impossible to evacuate this easy
