Yeah love them, are a good feed. Can't go wrong with garlic and butter in a pan or wrap them in alfoil and put on the coals. Sweet chilli sauce with them is good too.
Yeah I done another pass after that going a bit quicker and got nothing, most have just been some catfish there at that time. Did you hear that they are going to be stocking jungle perch in there very soon. That will be cool
I caught 40 in 2 days there at the spit a couple weeks ago. Goes well in winter

Up your trawl speed a bit and you won't have to worry about the catfish. All the dams have not been bitting atm.

I got a 22cm redclaw with 4 others in the pot in 1.5m water. There is always a bit of luck in it
So maybe depth doesn't play a big part then even when it's cold. Next time I'll throw a couple shallow and see what happens
Lure Loser I did tend to get better/more consistent yields in 6-8m water near the spit on the western side
