I moved area 3/4 yrs ago, no one knew me in the area. I'm discrete & but often practice openly at the beach. Within a few months the local kids named my house "The witches house" lol! I don't advertise but they knew intuitively. If they are in trouble or worried, they always come to me. So much so I had to go & see their parents to say that they're allowed in my yard & if they need help I'm just an extra safe place they can go! They were happy- thankfully! Just felt I had to share this? Blessings abound!
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful bit of your practice. As a solitary practitioner I appreciate greatly ideas that I could implement to add flavor to my own rituals.
Whenever I do workings or bury offerings outside I always cringe at the thought of someone discovering me or coming across me 🤣😅 seeing me coming out of the bushes or when I'm foraging. I shouldn't feel like that or care if someone thinks I'm nutty but it's hard not to so its definitely best to go somewhere where you won't be disturbed 😆 blessed be x
@@theferalfolkwitch 🙂 good on ya!! We should be able to practice without fear or humiliation just like organised religions do right out in the open! but I guess that's a centuries old problem of persecution and ridicule that will take generations to dissipate. I'm really happy though that these beliefs are becoming more accepted and more mainstream, it's a slow and gradual process but it is happening 🥰
It’s so wonderful that somebody brings knowledge and wisdom in that modern way. So necessary for younger people! I just want to say thank you for your work!!!
Oh my! Thank you 😊 that's a lovely thing to say 😁 honestly love how you've demonstrated it in your space looks beautiful and reminds me of a place I used to work in. Xx
Hi Lorna! Do you mind to share a book or two from where I could start reading about traditional witchcraft. A book to inspire me on how to start practicing? Thank you
I feel like Miss Lorna Haywood lives deep within an ancient Saxo-Brythonic forest, with a small retainer of state-issued men-at-arms in their perimeter guardhouse, charged to protect herself and her hearth; her familiar spirits and her shimmering guides and energies that exist solidly within the liminal, complete her protection circle. She exists as a powerful totem of great knowledge and great power- prickly lightening at her finger tips - her gift from her fairy consorts, courtesy of one late afternoon walk deep into the woods two winters ago- to keep the n'er-do-wells and willow-the-wisps of the bailiwick at bay.

In an already overpopulated country, it's getting harder to find privacy outside.

Another note of thanks for sharing a bit of what might typically be private or secretive. What a beautiful way of leaving an offering. Blessings.💜🕯💜

Any thing by Gemma Gary, Nigel G Pearson. Have a look at a publisher called Troy Books...basically anything in there
@@theferalfolkwitch thank you, I will take a look
@@theferalfolkwitch I like your channel, by the way. It’s nice to see someone practicing so we can learn by watching and get inspired!
I liked the video very much, and I just have a question: what kind of materials do you suggest to bury that are eco-friendly?
apples, honey, cream, bread are good for fae, especially the first 3 x
Where did you get your antler knife?
My father in law made it for me
