In this same concert, try Sballi Ravvicinati. At the time, 2017, we were undergoing Isis terrorist attacks in Europe, so there was a lot of concern about this enormous gathering. Vasco does a breakdown at the end of the song, in which he says: love overcomes fear, you were not afraid to come, they will not make us stay at home because of fear. Very powerful.

I remember when Vasco did this concert I was living abroad and since it was televised live on Italian tv at the local Italian cafe the owner managed to find the way to show it, and lots of Italians living there came to grab a couple of beers and enjoy the concert.

I saw him twice. Both concerts outstanding, although way more down to earth than this mega show.
First time was in Tuscany, Figline Valdarno (AR) to be precise for the 'C'è Chi Dice No' tour, and then at the Perugia stadium for the 'Gli Spari Sopra' tour. What memories. Vasco Rossi is a very divisive musician in Italy, but I can't care less and both his weight and artistry should be recognised.

I followed Vasco Rossi only at the beginning, in his first three or four albums, which are very good album. Instead, he wrote this song later, in the late eighties I think, he pissed off many, since Italy is very (not so much actually) Catholic, with this ironic part of the song: "Many people is convinced that there is something in the afterlife, who knows... how many people there will be who will be satisfied anyway..." ^^
Ah, even if after those first albums he started making a more "commercial" rock for my taste, he continued to write very beautiful songs, like "Vivere'", "Liberi liberi", and some others :)
