this concert had the world record of paying customers of 225,000. vasco is well known in europe and when u.2, madona, and other artists come to italy they make sure vasco is not playing that week or day.
FACT: The "Modena Park" concert took place at the racetrack in Modena (autodromo di Modena) in 2017 and holds the World Record for the highest number of paying audience at a solo concert. From the Web: the stage was 165 meters long, 23 meters wide and as high as an eight-story building, equipped with five giant LED screens for a total area of 1,500 m².
I couldn't be there but my whole family watched this on TV since it was also aired live. Great show indeed.
Vasco was probably the first to make rock music in Italian, starting from the 70s, when everyone at those times was saying that rock cannot be sung in Italian.

The second solo it's in reality the first guitar player. He is Stef Burns, Californian guitar player, also played guitar with Huey Lewis & The News, Michel Bolton and Alice Cooper. The first solo it's from Vince Pastano, italian guitar player. He is the 2nd guitar and the artistic director of Vasco tour live. The drummer is Matt Laug, american drummer also played with Alanis Morissette and Alice Cooper too. Vasco like to have the best players in live and records... expecially on drums. Lele Melotti, Gregg Bissonette, Vinnie Colaiuta, Deen Castronovo, Kenny Aronoff, Glen Sobel, Jonathan Moffett from Michel Jackson and Madonna, Joey Kramer from Aerosmith, Taylor Hawkins from Foo Fighters and Will Hunt from Evanescence. The best of the best played for Vasco. I suggest you "Gli spari sopra" RELOADED from Live Kom 014. Metal arrangment with Burns, Pastano and Will Hunt.

Vasco Rossi is one of the best Italian rock artists, the lyrics of his songs are poems. perhaps my favorites are, Domenica Lunatica, Brava, Dillo alla Luna, and Vivere senza Te.
The meaning of the song is to be found in the family story of Vasco Rossi. Vasco’s father was an Italian soldier during WWII who after the Italian armistice did not give in to blackmail of the Nazis and for this he was imprisoned. The song is therefore dedicated to him and to all those soldiers who "said no".
