Good for you and Paige. Make a positive out of this negative situation. Here in Orlando, FL, my son, dog and I are going fishing for a few weeks, living on the boat. You will be able to find me floating around in the Atlantic ocean. I'll be within 5mi for cell service to work from home and inland if there are weather issues. To win this one, we need only distance and stay half sober. I wish I was there with you all. Keep the positive message, keep posting!!

We got the notice to stay at home today here in Bangkok so envy is strong. We intended to get to Koh Samed but decided it would be crowded. Enjoy the island as long as you can because things are not pleasant here. Thanks for the tour and info, costs etc. A little high priced for us.

Cheers, Chuck! You found a good, joyful method for surviving and enjoying the corona virus! I think the trash on the beach comes from the Thai habit of throwing "khaya" in the khlongs, which float down the river into the Gulf of Thailand. I wish they could clean that up. But mai bpen rai.

You are RIGHT Chuck! I definitely have no arguments with that. My family is somewhat hunkering down here in Bangkok. The city is closed until the second week of April. Every sort of entertainment venue is shut, and that includes shopping venues. It’s OK for us since we don’t plan to go out anywhere anyway. Staying home isn’t so bad, and I owe it to your channel and other well known TH-camrs ;)...

We were just there last month and it was crowded. Beautiful island and good food. We stayed at "The Wendy Pool Resort" and then "To the sea " resort. Wish we were there now to ride out this pandemic.
The island certainly looks fabulous. I could sure think of worse places to be marooned during a zombie apocalypse (although the game 'Dead Island' does spring to mind!). Love all the shots of the beaches, that amazing coastline and the beautiful palm trees (I miss the palm trees - it's cold here in the UK!). Sometimes it's good to just point the camera, kill the music, let the natural ambience and beauty of a place tell its own story. What is it about the islands of SE Asia that are so beguiling? From where I'm looking (cold North of England, UK) it looks like some kind of paradise. Thanks for the video - as we enter 3 weeks of enforced state 'lockdown' here in the UK (tonight), it's nice to have a window, via these videos, back out into the world's wonderful places.

I am enjoying your travels on Koh Kut/Kood and the beauty is incredible. It is unbelievable in Carrollton, Texas because now we can't get haircuts,,,,,,,,yikes,,,,,,,lucky my last haircut I went high and tight, but really,,,,,,,,,,,,what happens after awhile,,,,,,,,,wild hairs and can't believe i can't go when i want to.,,,,,,,,i will wear a mask, wash my hands and so can the person cutting my hair ,,,,,,,,egads.

Went to the beach Saturday and on the intracoastal waterway the sand gnats were horrible, on the beach side not so bad but there was a nice breeze which helps. I’m sure you are long gone from the island but it looks like a great place to ride out this storm, no work for me in the foreseeable future so I just as well be there. Im sure you guys are enjoying wherever you are, thanks for sharing, many blessings to you, Paige and family 🙏

This "Shelter in Place" order we have in Illinois sucks, all the Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean restaurants are closed in my area. They're allowed to have p/u service, but they're not participating in it. All closed until 4/7/20. Enjoy your vacation, I'll continue to live vicariously through you, thanks!
The rule in the US is "social distancing" or staying 6 feet (2 meters) away from other people. In California, its "shelter in place" which means don't go anywhere unless you need to. From your video it looks like the social distancing aspect isn't a problem where you are. I could certainly think of worse places to shelter in place. Enjoy and be safe.
