Thanks for the video. What is the spread measurement on your puller?

Just a few inches, not very big.

Fantastic, I have to start the work on my uplander 2008, what tools are required for wheel bearing replacement

Patients is number 1 as getting a factory bearing off takes forever. The axle nut is really the only tool specific to the install, all others are fairly standard to have.

How many bolts does the wheel hub have do you know? One of them look like it’s almost blocked by the axl boot in the back what the heck lol

Three…the top most one is usually a pain, sometimes you have to jack up the lower control arm to straighten the CV boot for better access.

@ so I just did it I actually had to go to a tire shop to take that dam axle nut off holy crap! Anyways seems good only thing is I tightened all the bolts to as how hard I can for the wheel hub bolts and the axle nut. Also the freaking hub just came off scary… I didn’t need a separator it just separated… wonder how long I could have kept driving like that for lol…

You should have the vehicle on the ground and the wheels on when you tried to remove the axle nut. It is much easier and safer to remove the axle nut before you jack it up. It is also easier to reinstall the axle nut once the vehicle is back on the ground.

Hobby Electronics kinda hard to do with a wheel covering the nut...

No problem if you have steel rims. I should have been more specific.

Or had someone step on the brake. Point being is this way always works.

The torque is 96 ft-lbs - I found the 13mm socket could not handle that much torque - how did you set your torque?

Torque it as tight as you can then. In terms of bearing life the hub axle nut is key, make sure that’s up to snuff.

randomrazr They are ok. The service department in my area sucks for Ford, so I would avoid it on that basis for me.

At least it's not chevy my silverado had a stripped cylinder head threads on one of the spark plugs from the factory! The real kicker is they won't even offer to help since their factory screwed up. I'd go with tesla. Sure it costs more up front but no maintenance or gas it evens out probably lol.
