I think we as fans have big issues judging players. We look too much at how players currently play, rather than what they are capable of doing. I understand why, it is a much easier analysis to make, and often times these things line up, but not always. Everton is not Arsenal, they play completely different and his possession stats are effected by this. He will play differently and develop different at Arsenal. He has all the elements to become elite in the role he will play at Arsenal. But the most important thing Amadou adds is versatility, he is a profile that Arsenal simply do not have in midfield and increases Artetas options, Arteta does not want or need a like for like Xhaka replacement, he wants varying options for that role depending on the opposition, and Onana allows Rice to move up and be another option there.
It sounds like he'd be a good fit for Liverpool though, in that hole that Fabinho left. They could really use a destroyer, and Onana could either be an improvement on or successor to Wataru Endo, depending on how well he adjusts.
He is too similar to Rice. Man United should buy him. They need a proper young CDM with pace to replace Caesimiro. Arsenal should've bought Milinkovic Savic to replace Xhaka imo.
Doubt Aston Villa would let go of Luiz. Zuibimendi in January should be viable, with a couple exits. I'd then go for Toney instead of Osimhen. International duty mid-season is an issue and Toney is already PL proven.
Newcastle fan here we’re linked to him think he needs to move to a club like newcastle villa west ham etc over arsenal right now hes still young so would develop better by starting more for one of those teams
More videos Dave!! Your work is great but too much on Man United and Arsenal. It could be good if you do transfers match within the big 6 at least:) Cheers
I think onana is the sort of player who if he goes to a club like united under tenhag might flop coz he has areas of his game he needs to work out hence he needs a manager like arteta or a klopp or even pep who can develop him in a stable system and environment coz he had the potential to be an elite destroyer but still think just like rice he should play in a double pivot for a top club
I disagree on ur point of rice.rice is so limited to play as a 6 for an elite club,he,s better suited as a lm or in a double pivot as his line breaking is non existant, his first phase play is also poor,he looks uncomfortable with his back to goal
@@StatmanDave only in your world he is a upgrade bro are it’s just your English bias overrated world give me facts that he is a upgrade ? Is Arsenal better with rice playing the 6 role give me stats of that after all your are stat man dave ?
SHOULD ARSENAL SIGN AMADOU ONANA?
I hear Havertz is good lol
Buy🇧🇪
Yes. He's terrific box to box.
That would be just another rice side ways passing and backward passing with no vision and no progressive passing !!!
This guy remove my comment 😂😂😂😂 the truth hurts huh ?

He is terrible on the ball. Next.

I think zubimendi or douglas luiz or even both would be more suited to our style of play
Totally agree

Agree 100% - he's not ready for an elite possession based team & a move to those teams would give him chance to round his game out
He isn't good enough for Arsenal? Then Everton should be expecting a call from John Murtoh soon 😂

what do u think about fredrico redonondo
Hes coming to Villa
I swear Arteta and Edu have been trying to sign Douglas Luis for some time now. Villa are just like "no"
🤷♀

Can we get a video on Xavi Simons
I used to think he'd be great, especially after his efforts against us (Arsenal), but he has too many shortcomings atm.
We need both 6 and 8 . Jorginho no longer has the legs . Partey always injured. Luiz will be too expensive.
He should come to the actual powerhouse of the league UTFA

UTV
why
Utd should sign him.
United has been linked to him and I hope it doesn't happen. He doesn't pass my eye test. I'd love for Arsenal to have him. 😂
does arsenal have 100 mill to spend on him NOPE. everton wouldnt let him leave this window.
ARSENAL Should Sign Him For 88M
No, more money wasted if we do.
Hi Dave can u do one for who Tottenham should sign in January and next summer please
Will look at doing one, probably be for the summer now
I forgot this guy Statman Dave said rice was an upgrade over partey how can I really take is analytic knowledge serious ?
