- Our very first day in our new Hayabusa-powered Stohr sports racer "BLITZ" after a complete rebuild in the garage over the past month. This is our second session out, over 30C/90F temp, and a driver who hasn't turned a lap at Mission Raceway in a decade! Warm up lap and my fastest lap of the day, a 1:07.263; I felt I was driving a lot better in the later sessions but unfortunately my set of ultra soft tires were just getting slower and slower as they were so badly overheated.
Very hopeful to see seconds drop off of this time at the next event with lower temperatures, more appropriate tires, and significant driver mod...
