@@eoghan.kuiper that’s the point watch a random video of any cellist and you’ll see the camera bouncing around like it’s on the end of a yo-you. it’s horribly distracting. This video is as if we are in a good seat in the audience about 12 feet from you and we get to watch you play.
@@journeymancellist9247 Well it's not that incredibly impressive when it is just held in a steady position by a tripod. More important factors to be impressed by are the lighting conditions and framing which in this case are done well.
@@eoghan.kuiper you’re missing the point, which is that the camera is not moving. Go watch any performance video and watch the camera thrashing around and you will understand. Look forward to watching more of you. Please make a point to seek out good music that has never been played.
GIROLAMO FRESCOBALDI { FERRARE 1583-1643 ROMA } TOCCATA FOR CELLO AND PIANO. Magnifique cette toccata, interprétation du violoncelle et du piano grandiose bravo. Merci pour ce chef-d'oeuvre de GIROLAMO FRESCOBALDI un des grands compositeurs de la musique baroque qui est Eternel. Video sublime merci.
unfortunately this is not composed by Frescobaldi at all (this not how music in Frescobaldi's time sounded like).... It is written in the 1920s by Cassado
You are right but Cassado said it was by Frescobaldi and it has always been published that way. Apparently he later admitted he made it up. Don't know if it was done as a joke.
Yes, right from the very first phrase, one knows that this piece cannot possibly be by Frescobaldi. Next thing you know, they'll be telling us that Cassadò's 'Requiebros' was composed by Vivaldi.
I keep coming back and watching this: fingering, bow arm, dynamics, interpretation. Both inspiring and intimidating …
Absolutely fantastic.
This should have more than 1600 views. This is absolutely gorgeous.
Wow! The doubble stops were absolutely effortless! Fantastic!
I love the neatness and preciseness. Fingering, interpretation, it's really inspiring. You are awe-inspiring.
Ahhhhh! One of my favorite pieces! Bravo!!!
Lovely sound and very sensitive playing from the cellist. Bravo! :-)
Really enjoyed your performance - fantastic
Every camera operator on TH-cam should watch this video. Perfect camera work! And a terrific performance! Well done!
What? The camera barely moved lol

Wow! Just wow! Nailed it! BEAUTIFUL!!
Magnifique!
Fine performance!
Very good!
Awesome
Composed by Gaspar Cassado in 1925, supposedly in the style of Frescobaldi.
Richard Webb cassaldo made the arrangement
바로크의 기악악기의 선두봉이었던 프레스코발디의 토가타의 연주를 넘 잘들었습니다
첼로의 아름다운 선율이 감정을 움직입니다
Very nice
bravo!!!
Bravo!
Bravi, una toccata tutta suonata con brio e fantasia!

wow !
Great performance. Witch movements they are? If them exist.
It's a single-movement showpiece.
Great! :)
Wow
Good
...Frescobaldi????!!!! Cannot be!! Although, the piece is very nice....
It's not; the piece was written by Gaspar Cassado in the 1900s and past off as Frescobaldi as a musical hoax.
Beautifully played! (BTW, it's not by Frescobaldi, but it's a terrific piece, nonetheless. It's by Gaspar Cassado.)
You are right but Cassado said it was by Frescobaldi and it has always been published that way. Apparently he later admitted he made it up. Don't know if it was done as a joke.
+Carol Haynes The history entails that because it is done in such a way that pertains to frescobaldi that it is published that way by Earl Ray Slocum.
