  • This is a close up comparison of Fake Pokemon Fire Red Copy and an Authentic one to help you identify the difference between them and avoid overpaying for a FAKE COPY of this game. The fake game costs about 5-15$ depending on where you are getting for and as of today, an Authentic Pokemon FireRed costs about $80 in average.

      Just so you know, the GBA Pokemon games only needed batteries to count the time / day cycles for in-game events; the saves were tied to flash memory.
      Fire Red and Leaf Green do not require the use of time or day cycles so batteries were not required and saves were still being saved to memory.
      Every game before that (RBGY/GSC) for the Gameboy used an internal battery for saving as it was before the use of flash memory.

    • @lakai02
      @lakai02 ปีที่แล้ว

      theres also other tell tales of chips that are pretty obvious without playing the game, like the nintendo "windows" and the stamped serial on the cartridges and often times (unless cart swapped) they are hard to read but theres an embossed 3digit number on the face usually on the right, right above the official product seal, repros are fine if you just want to play the game but if saves dont work at all then even those are useless
      dont be afraid to call out scammers or uninformed people because a lot of people dont know they arent official.

    These are mostly reproduction cartridges not "fakes". It's not like it's a different game inside or it doesn't work.

      If it’s not original, it’s fake. any copyrighted product that is not made by their owner are fake. Repros are the cool word used by sellers to charge more for their fake stuff bought cheaply for a dollar or two from other countries.
