    They still deliver!
    Saw The Stones last summer during their latest 60th tour, saw Golden Earring during their last shows when they served 59 years on the road ( they quited last year after George was diagnosed with ALS) but would love to see this band one more time. So please bring it to Europe, these guys were born to rock everybody down after 50 years.

    Thank you for this! Excellent capture of the Bad Boys of Boston. One of my absolute favorites from the band, and a rarity of seeing 'lead bass' from Mr. Joe Fuc**in' Perry done live in concert!

    Was in Vegas on Monday the 26th and surprised my wife (one of her favorite bands) with tickets to the show. This was my 4th time seeing them since their Permanent Vacation tour in 89 and was impressed. They still put on a great show and sound amazing after all these years.
    The wife had tears of joy (literally) during this show. This was here second Aerosmith concert. The first was 10 years ago at the Tacoma Dome which is a crappy venue for any concert. She said this Vegas show is how she would have loved to have seen them 10 years ago.

    Had a ticket to see them in 1979 in Portland Maine..got in some trouble as a teen, however unxcusable and was unable to go. As it was, then to hear Steven Tyler had passed out on stage then during this exact tune. The opportunity never came again.. Its been 43 years and finally reached the stop on this journey for the 50 year party at Fenway..In context the "Greatest nite of my life" ...Gesundheit!!! 🐸🐱🛷🧸♥️

      I saw them on thier 1979 tour in New Haven, Ct. They were more wasted than i was. And i was! They opened with this song but no one clapped at the end because they were so high, no one knew what they had just played! Funny now :)

      I was at that show in Portland Maine as well. It was actually "Refer headed woman" that he passed out on. 4th song into the show. Down he went. Roadies carried him off and they ended the concert. People were pissed and throwing bottles at the stage. I knew something was wrong cause he just stood there hugging the mic stand the first 3 songs.

    Rockers in the Seventies from the Seventies! Who knew this was even possible? Years ago they thought you were old after you turned 30 and the idea of being in a Rock band after 35 was considered crazy! It just wasn’t done or an option.
    But the Stones, Macca, The Who and Aerosmith have all gone way past their expectation dates and still play. It’s almost unbelievable! I’m actually glad because when they’re gone there’s no one coming up behind them to replace them and the live Rock Era with be over. Like the end of an Age!
    It’s kind of like the end of the Dinosaurs 🦕🦖 who roamed the world 🌎 and dominated it for their time but the time finally ran it’s course and then they we’re gone! And then the little monkeys came out and took to the trees!
    But it still makes me sad because something beautiful will have died. Live Rock n Roll is a beautiful thing but it’s going away soon like the Dodo did. And the Dinos! You won’t hear their mighty Roar anymore! Sad but true! But what else can you do but enjoy the moments because they are fleeting.
    Like the late, great Prince once said Parties 🎈🎊 🎉 aren’t meant to last! They end up living only in our memories. 😮😊

      I was at this show, in the pit. The show was so good that I’m thinking about going again, but I was wondering how the side stage seats were. Like how was the sound, and did you at all feel disconnected from the action of the show.

  • @musicalchairs777
    @musicalchairs777 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Better than ever but a minor detail is the cymbals. Zildjian cymbals are the Aerosmith sound. Paiste is too glossy on the top end. Works great for Van Halen, but these guys need more chunk in the funk.

    They're sounding great. But just a little off from their classic sound without Joey Kramer's signature drumming.

    • @dynjarren8355
      @dynjarren8355 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What happened to Joey Kramer? He was like a damn Metronome on Drums! Steady and hard rocking drumming! I heard they said he was having health problems but I’m not sure what exactly. Do you know? It’s not the same without Kramer! That guy was steady as a Rock! The same as the Stones without Charlie Watts!
      I’m not saying the new guy is bad just that it’s a different sound and feel. Every drummer has a slightly different style and feel when they play even it they keep a steady beat.
      Because Human beings aren’t machines and don’t play the same way.
      Don’t you agree? I think you notice the difference, too!
