Aerosmith has been my favorite band since I was 15 years old (30 now). I’ve always fantasized about seeing them live, so when I saw that they were going on their farewell tour, I had to get tickets. Sadly, Steven injured his larynx before I could go. It will always be one of my great regrets to never get to see them live and loud. But they gave us over 50 years of memories to cherish. To Steven Tyler, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer, and Joe Fuckin’ Perry, there’s no way to express how much you have all given me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything.

Was so Blessed to see them live several times in the past 10yrs. Not too big of a fan of Toys, Train or Rats until I saw them played live! That one night that they played those 3 songs, everything just came together & Joe Perry was on fire! Wow! Steven still one of the Best,,,,Forever!

Back in the Saddle alone is enough to shred the larynx of any other singer. I can remember listening to Live Bootleg 40+ years ago, marveling how Steven could not only sing that every night on tour but how they opened the show with it! It hurts that they had to pull the plug earlier than they wanted to, but not only did Steven's voice hold out beautifully, the entire original band is still alive, one of the very few bands that have that distinction!
I have been a fan since the late 70s. Have seen them in concert several times. The last time was at bonner springs, ks outdoor arena with my daughter who was around 10. She's 34 now amd im almost 70. We were going to catch them in KC in January, together. Am so sorry they had to retire. Love you guys

I'm still gutted that this tour was canceled. Its been my dream to see them since childhood, and I finally had tickets for their Detroit show when they postponed for the first time a week before I was supposed to see them. Obviously their health comes first, but that doesnt make it any less disappointing

They could also probably still pull off an album if they wanted with Steven taking as many rests as he needs to, but other than that, we've had them for decades now... Sad to say is time to say goodbye.

Rock is dead in terms as it's not the most dominant form of music anymore in the mainstream. The only big rock bands are boomer nostalgia rock bands that are slowly going away. Rock will never be dead in the sense that people will always listen to it, much like classical music or jazz. Rock will go through cycles and pop up for a short period of time, but it will never dominate the charts and airwaves like it once did. The music will never be dead but the cultural phenomenon is indeed dead.
Never see live bands like this, I've seen many approx 50& still the best live band in my opinion ever, possibly besides Zeppelin I was a little too young to see them🙁

Often finding with new bands they’ve that very history, it’s been going on for some time I think we’re in huge trouble going ahead

Do you even believe those claims?? They've been cancelling shows non stop since 2019. They are old and couldn't hold up. Also the fill in drummer was a mess I can't imagine how hard it was for them to play without Joey which makes no sense to me why they decided to throw him out. Idk..it was a sad end to a great band. I secretly hope this is a stunt to cover money issues with the promoter and insurance and will come back for a final global tour with Joey and a different approach.

He's had so many vocal surgeries he finally just pushed it to the point of no return. It's been a thing for years.

Also the fill in drummer was a mess I can't imagine how hard it was for them to play without Joey which makes no sense to me why they decided to throw him out. Idk..it was a sad end to a great band. I secretly hope this is a stunt to cover money issues with the promoter and insurance and will come back for a final global tour with Joey and a different approach.

You have to respect Steven Tyler calling it a day when he could no longer sing. Unlike Kiss and Motley Crue using backing tracks
