London - the place where I met so many awesome ppl and my band, Goodnight Vincent, was formed there since early 2019. I live in Hull now since a year ago because my band wanted to relocate there so I went on. From my own independent point of view - the best gigs we had were always in London regarding of the UK, sure we did have some great ones up north England (Ambleside was tops) and Wales too but nothing beats the energy of London London is where my social life thrives on much better than in Hull, though I do make friends but its harder - hopefully it will be somehow a bit easier but if not, I got London and Reading on my side
I agree, London has an incredible vibe and it goes all the way: gigs, video projects, everything really. I loved it there when I worked in London. Everything is happening there for sure!
@@mikebogatyrev3058 last year I caved into the persuasion that Hull and East Yorkshire would be far better than London, I can only say that for the rent and buying stuff in general but otherwise does not have the oomph factor of London. Plus I feel more accepted in London
