I love this so much! Currently I’m almost 44 (in March) and since the start (mid 2023- I think?? time is going so fast with two teens in the house 😅) I’ve been a ‘FaceTime creator’ on my socials. I had a deal with myself that I’d only start this account if it’s minimal effort. And because I don’t put pressure on myself and I have boundaries around how much content I put out and type-it is so much fun.
And yes do a FaceTime video for creators! This can be so helpful to get more videos out without having to edit as much. Editing takes most of my time!!
I hate how you have to pay $15 a month to “show” your monetized! Other platforms reward you to be monetized & you don’t have pay a monthly payment to have the little blue dot w/a check mark.
I’d love to see a business series focused on how companies can grow their social media presence by adapting to changes and evolving strategies that are proven to work.
Maybe the new social media platform which will compete with instagram, tiktok and youtube will be flashes, a photo sharing app which uses the bluesky codebase?
I would LOVE some long-term content. Maybe not too slow-paced, but definitely not as fast-paced as some reels on instagram are...i am 25 and even for me when the video is cut in the middle of the movement, just because it looks like nothing is happening or with so many transitions that i feel like i am flying through the screen is exhausting and i just scroll away :D i don't see it as much on youtube, but definitely if you are burnt out, make more slow-paced content or a series or anything like that. It does NOT need to be fast to be fun and engaging

There are pros and cons to both sides of the coin. Being in a slow-growth phase can be a blessing to foster and nurture a strong community of loyal subscribers who are there for the journey😁 Being patient (especially on TH-cam) is so important. Now I will say, since you said you've been in the game for a little over a year, I'd ask yourself if there's anything you can change up and test. Like if you've been doing the same thing for a year, and not seeing any results, you might need a strategy refresh 😁 that can be as simple as changing up a thumbnail style if you've been doing the same style over and over. Patience is important, but also curiosity is just as important. Being curious if there are ways to tweak your strategy as a creator can get you some really cool results too🙌🏽
