I like the historic brawl content. It’s good to sit back and just enjoy a few games of magic without having to worry about rank, and it just feels good when you get off a combo. Good games buddy!
Big fan of the channel, my biggest gripe with other content creators is commentary, and you nail it. keep it going brother. Brew up an anti Atraxa deck she be killin me in diamond!!!
I'm glad you like that aspect of the content its been something I've been trying to improve! Appreciate the support my friend and just about any control deck should be able to roll Atraxa piles, but if you're midrange you may be in for a bad time
You make great historic brawl decks. I personally don't watch anything else and think you should focus on that. There are plenty of others who make standard content.
Hey i appreciate that! I'm still super new to brawl so am still getting to know all the cards etc. I'm glad you like the brawl content (i enjoy making it) but from an Analytics standpoint the majority of people are here for standard (and its not like i don't enjoy standard either). That said i think i'm going to try to do something similar to CGB where we do brawl a couple days a week and standard for the rest
the 3 mana Dovan that has no plus ability is a deceptively good commander for a deck like this. Also too many people sleep on Stenn. He is the best non-hell Q Azorius Control commander IMHO.
Totally forgot about Stenn haha yeah the cost reduction i imagine would be quite good! I'll have to look at that other Dovan you mentioned i don't think i have it
Would definitely agree! I do wonder how they define HQ though. Is it based on commander strength alone or do they take the cards in the deck into account too?
@@GrumpsteinMTG commander first, cards then. Even a mediocre commander with busted 99 will get paired in HQ after a while. This doesn’t happens with new commanders, for some reason, or with commanders that Wotc decide that they’re only HQ.
@@GrumpsteinMTG They apparently do weight decks on individual card strength as well as commander strength. Also they have internal player ratings. If your good enough you will always be in hell Q no matter your deck. Also HQ is soft... the longer you wait for a match the wider the circle of opponents gets. My hardcore Stenn control deck is pretty much wallowing in HQ and i see NOONE else playing Stenn.

This is the kind of deck that belongs to Hell Queue and should not play on the regular queue.
