He has destroyed family-run contracting businesses by refusing to pay them for work done and tying them up in court. This has happened multiple times. People just like this guy lost their jobs, lost their companies, because Trump's a cheap son of a bitch.

I understand his accountants advised him that his salary would actually cost him more in tax than it paid him. But then, as the bstard never pays tax....
The funny thing is that if Trump only haves 1 billion dollars, and he gives up he donates his 400K salary each year, that's like someone making 100K donate 40 dollars.
So him giving away his salary each year isn't really the noble thing they act like it is.

As a businessman, Trump is horrible. If he would have taken his family inheritance and put it in the bank making a nominal interest rate, he would be richer today than he is.
And that's why he's never served on any executive boards. Actual good business people usually serve on multiple Boards. Nobody has ever asked him because he's not a businessman, he's a conman.

I think this is what gets me the most about Trump. He just hates people who actually work for a living.
There are 2 types of people, those that allow bad business and those that punish it.

I was born and raised in Philly, back then we had this thing called a News Paper, these stories were in the paper all the time, one of the Contractors who did glass work at one of his Casinos committed suicide because the company went Bankrupt because of rump, then there was the time when three of his Business partners were killed in a Helicopter crash and he blamed them for the Casinos Bankruptcy even after it was known that he kept taking loans they couldn't afford, what a guy. POS
I remember seeing a story many many years ago where a woman was talking about her family’s construction company that went bankrupt because of trump (small t for small man). They tried to sue but he kept everything in the courts and they eventually gave up because they couldn’t afford the legal fees.
I knew about Trump stiffing the ATLANTA workers about 10 years ago. And l live in Australia!

#Contractors My brother took on a job for #VonShitzenPantz in Hawaii about (13yrs ago, I believe). He was a custom master cabinetry maker and trimmer. He had a very successful business on the mainland, without complaints. He was known as the best.
When he moved to Hawaii and was approached by Humpty, he didn't really know much about him other than he was "a billionaire".
After he finished the project Humpty refused to pay WITHOUT any legit complaint. Even though he won a lawsuit, he never saw a penny. He had to go bankrupt. Lost his company and moved back to the mainland.

1. incessantly interrupt to talk over me, lie, and make excuses for refusing to entertain facts, realities, and ethical ideals they don’t like.

3. cannot distinguish between reality and imagination, confidently pretending to know a reality they cannot possibly know.
4. rabidly vilify, hate, ostracize, harm, and shun others who are different only because they are different.
5. insist they are divinely entitled to forcibly micromanage the lives of others.

I’m very quickly losing faith in the people of this country. If they would only take the time to understand how the global economy is rebounding from Covid and how long that has taken. It’s by far not perfect, but we successfully avoided going into a recession after trump was done. These people are so incredibly short sighted.

My ex’s step father lost his construction job in Manhattan because the construction company he worked for went bankrupt trying to fight Trump in court to get him to pay his bill. Trump’s number one run on walking out on a bill is to immediately contest the work done to lower the bill. He has been doing this for decades. My ex’s stepfather said a lot of people warned his boss to not contract with Trump for anything, but he didn’t listen.

Unfortunately, he was one among hundreds that was conned by Trump and lost their business. I saw many small companies caught in his trap, I am sorry for all of them. Recovering from that is very difficult and very long.

Giving up his salery is not a positive. That is there to make sure the president is loyal to the people cause they pay him. There are strong laws against the president receiving money from any other source and Trump made a mockery of those. That hasn't been brought up though much.

That construction worker is an idiot. He bankrupted a bunch of contractors and their workers weren’t paid when he built that tower in Chicago 30 years ago. I know people that it happened too.

It’s easy to screw small firms and watch them go out of business due to no money. Trump is an evil man. For MAGA who say “they probably deserved to be stiffed for shoddy work” (as Trump often lists as his excuse for non-payment), having one or two contractors so bad they shouldn’t be paid is one thing. But if the vast majority of your contractors do work that you don’t deem good enough to get paid? That ain’t them, buddy. It’s you. You’re either cheap, a cheat, or a lousy businessman who can’t pick decent contractors.
