So, your pair don't fight over the anemone? My female wouldn't let the mail in it at all! They are both young,....so maybe it would have resolved, but he was getting so beaten up I separated them. Let him keep the Bubble Tip,.....and I got her a Sebae just today. I hope she'll be ok with it. I ordered a Bubble Tip, but they sent a sebae by mistake.

Eventually it will become beige or light brown or medium brown in color. It is its healthy apparence. A sebae that is white has lost its zooxanthellae, the symbiotic algae that it use to feed and get energy. When they are white, they really need to be fed each day or they will die.
I got another one that was also white and bleached at the beginning and it was like 3", now its a huge 12" anemone with brown color all over and green hue on the top and around the mouth. Very healthy now.

Some can lose their zooxanthelle and turn a more clearish white. But some sebaes are a solid white color like you see here and has nothing to do with “bleaching”

I just got a pure white sebae just like yours. It looks really cool under the actinic led lighting. I did hear that a pure white sebae will stay white even under intense lighting.

Nice looking anemone! What lights are you using? I had power compacts and my anemone almost died. I upgraded to led's and he is in good shape now. I have a maroon clownfish but he doesn't seem interested in the anemone. I thought the anemone was a bubble tip but it is a sebae. how did you get your clowns to host?

What kind of clowns are those?

A far more common practice is to dye "said"anemone some exotic color.Yes ._. a symptom of a sick anemone IS Bleaching .But i would not bet against Nature having a white anemone . Nice Video Thanks for the View Btw Anemones can grow very old, like Foever. If not eaten of course lol

+Jeremey Persaud no luck yet.. Still waiting

+Jeremey Persaud just bought my first seabae anonome 2 days ago. anyone have any tips? so far it's doing well...it hasn't moved locations at all though. it's on the bottom of the tank like this one is.
And fyi. Getting your clowns to host them shouldnt be a priority. they slowly kill the anonome. its not good for it....think of it as "smoking". it just kills them faster.
