How To Cut and Sew a KAFTAN/BUBU Gown.

In less than 30 minutes, you can learn how to cut and make this bubu dress or kaftan dress. In this video, I demonstrate how to cut a bubu or kaftan in a simple manner that is suitable for all body types and sizes. When you use this tried-and-true procedure, you cannot make a mistake.

@@julianankiru8734 fold into four, then the 10 at the hem is wide for a slim body size. If it's not a stretchy fabric, use then. But if your fabric stretches, then use 8" at the hem

In making a long one, you have to determine where the cowl effect will begin from, either from the knee, or above the knee, so your decision if where you want the effect is what will determine where you make the cowl effect from.

Like she mentioned under another viewer's comment,it's a one-size fits all dress.
But I think you can actually adjust the "10 inches" measurement if making the dress for an extra plus lady
