This is not a series 6 watch. Tools, glue, and instructions re; warming up is spot on. Do not start on crown, side that’s where the wire strips are and risk cutting them. Heating and just moving around 1//16” deep and reheating will really help. Try not to destroy the gasket. I was easily able not to and reuse mine. The screw is extremely small so be careful not to loose it. It holds down another small part the battery cable presses against the charging spot. The glue is spots on just add a thin layer on top of it once you have cleaned up the old adhesive around both sides of body and face b/4 resealing it. Work fast as it starts setting up after 1-2 minutes when resembling the face. Remove any that squeeze out w/ alcohol quickly. Need a small clamp to keep together for at least 30 minutes full curing time is 24 hrs. Adding alcohol does help battery come right out. I used a syringe w/ a 18 gage needle. That isn’t a series 6 battery either, It’s black and smaller on my 44mm 6. You will figure it out. Just take your time. PS. The battery will have adhesive on the back covered w/ plastic semi stiff plastic barrier. You don’t need double sided tape.
This is 100% the series 6 watch 40mm. The 44m has a black battery and the 40mm has this silver battery. I have both watches and seem the inside of both of mine.
How do you know what battery to choose? There's multiple batteries on amazon with different shapes, cable length, metallic cover, but they all say "series 6 44mm", does it matter which one I buy? Will any of them fit the watch? Thanks, I will be following these steps.
Please make a video for the 45 mm Apple Watch Series 7. My battery health is already shot and there’s no real battery replacement videos for the series 7 on TH-cam yet
@@Re_mad7because you can still fit a non genuine one but the battery status will give you a notification icon you can’t remove. The video won’t show this of course, and made to think once fitted, it’s good to go. If you don’t mind the always on notification icon, then fit one. 👍
I would rather pay 100 bucks to apple, so that they change the battery for you. On top of that they use a genuine battery, which means that there won’t be a notification of using a fake non apple battery. Unfortunately in this video they didn’t show, what’s written in the “battery” section of the watch. Because apple always knows when a non genuine battery is built in

Hi there, nice work. Will Apple Watch recognize it is not original battery as iPhone do?
Yep it will do. Only genuine batteries can be obtained through apple, which means they can only fit a genuine one.
What? So what’s the point of this vid then?
