Yes. I am replying to my own comment, bad form I know. Unless you have better data sources and better data. You loose.

The speed depends on the altitude. I like a lot the piper matrix. But the reality is if you flight short legs when you dont need to climb si much, the soeed is not 213. The 213 is a FL250, a flight level that you will not flying in the matrix unless you use oxygen and the distance be practical to make this climb. Second, you have the space, but you dont have the useful load to use the 6 seats and all this baggage. In the 206 with 4 passengers and a lot of baggage be possible and full fuel. In the matrix, you can carry maybe 3 full adults with the fuel tanks and nothing else. You will have to drop out at least half of the tank to be able to carry 4 and baggage. I love the matrix but the comparison is not the real life.

      Cessna go's 700 mls.
With all the luggage, 4 passengers and full fuel it will probably not go 700 mls (because it will use more fuel with all the weight).
The Piper with all the luggage and 4 pasengers can not take full fuel, but because of initially higher range (+ 1100 mls) it will probably go 700 mls or at least further than the Cessna with the same amount of luggage and pasengers

Full fuel tanks also gets you 6+ hours of endurance at economy cruise. For a flight with you and your partner you can use portable urinals. With 4 adults... probably not so much unless they're cool with whipping it out in front of everyone else, and if any of them are women chances are you WILL be making a stop for a restroom break before fuel is an issue.
Fill up to 60 or 80 gallons and you can easily haul 4 typical American adults a long way. A more practical scenario is you, your partner, and a couple kids which will probably let you run full or close to full tanks. Even though it seats 6, it's really more of a 4 person plane with two extra seats for occasional short trips.
Say you're a typical family with two kids, you can usually fly at full or close to full tanks and everyone has abundant room. You visit your parents or in-laws and you can haul them for a short jaunt an hour or two away to get to a nearby city or resort area.
A cross-country flight with 6 people crammed in there won't be comfy. For a mission like that you just tell the in-laws to get a commercial plane tickets, but you can pick them up locally and fly them to the nearest major hub airport if needed, and assuming you drop them off an hour or two early for them to clear security and check-in you might even be able to match their arrival time and pick them up at the destination and again haul them closer to the final destination at a smaller airport.
LAX to DEN is 2h 15m on a commercial flight. 3h 22m in a Malibu @ 200ktas. Throw in that hour to check-in and clear security and you can meet your in-laws at the destination airport then ferry them another hour or two to the final destination.

smith jones 4 in the front hold. Search for Piper Malibu on TH-cam and you’ll find a video where someone tested it.

Why not leave behind the redundancy of a second engine.

What's the insurance and maintenance savings over an older pressurized Malibu? I know the Malibu and early Mirages average $10-12k/year on annuals including resultant replacements/repairs of problem items found during annual, with a range of ~$6k on a good year to $20k+ on an unlucky year. I assume much of that maintenance goes to things like airframe inspection, control linkage inspection, etc. which would presumably be about the same on a Matrix. Does dropping pressurization really save **that** much on insurance and maintenance? It's still a big, cabin class plane with an all-metal hull and a big, turbocharged engine that's consistently asked to do more than its designers ever envisioned.

Yes. Pressurization is a huge insurance cost
