Thanks for this! I just want to highlight one thing that no one has mentioned, not even the service manual. When reinstalling the HSC/LSC knob, make sure that the settings are aligned correctly. Set the LSC setting to #6 and turn the center knob closed all the way counterclockwise.
I am so grateful to have had this video as my guide. I completed my service this evening without a hitch thanks to your recommendations and following along to the video. I’m very proud and glad to have the experience of servicing it myself. Thanks again!!
Thanks for taking the time and sharing this video! I like the tip with the markings on the uppers to match the correct direction when inserting the lowers. Im going to be doing the 50 hour oil and seal replacement on my Diamond D1 soon
This is excellent, thanks! DVO doesn't have a service manual for my Diamond E3 yet. Would you know how close what you're doing on your D1 is to my E3? I do have an email from them telling me how much oil to use on each side.
I am sorry, I am not familiar with the E3 - I am not a bike mechanic and use these videos to figure out what I am doing. Hopefully encouraging others to try.
@@OldAZMountainBikerInMA thanks for your answer. I will go with the 35mm, the shop says its for D2 but i guess they are wrong there shouldnt be any difference.

I should have mentioned that. I ran into this issue exactly.

Thank you so much for the feedback, it means a lot.

I am glad it was helpful, and thank you for the feedback. A lot work goes into filming/editing and it is nice to hear it appreciated.
Now I want to see the d3
Awesome video, thanks so much from your fellow DVO nerds!
My pleasure. I hope to get one out on the air cartridge soon.
Great and useful video 👍
Thank you

Do you need 35 or 36mm seal kit? I cant figure out some pages says 35 while others 36
35MM. I bought the official replacement from DVO, but I also bought the 35MM seal setter, so that is what I am basing my answer on.

Can I use the same oil I use for the fork to soak the foam ring?
Absolutely, that is exactly what I did.
much more interesting would be - cartridge full service.. )
I totally agree. I have the parts to service the air piston, but I need a couple of additional tools for the job.
