- There are two ways to get Research Notes:
Salvaging bought items crafted by other players
Salvaging items you crafted yourself
FAST page for cheapest items: fast.farming-c...
Research note Wiki Page: wiki.guildwars...
Discord: / discord
My Twitch page: / ruby_burrito
FYI, Hydrocatalytic Reagents and Research Kits can be purchased from any Crafting Master.
Thank you so much! I missed that, but this is very helpful!
Commenting for the algorithm
Ty very useful as always
Thank you very much haha, I really appreciate it!
Most expensive way, draconic helm, 76 per. Cheapest way, slaying potions.
I just realized I have like 15 stacks of unidentified gear that I can research for the notes! Finally a fast way to get rid of those 😂
Unfortunately I have bad news, The research kits only work on crafted gear. I wish that they would work, I had like 30 at one point and it would have been super nice. I am very sorry if I was confusing about it, but yeah, unfortunately they have to be crafted, so the Unidentified gear wont work 😭
@@rubyburritog ohh your right FML, well no worries it wasn't you it was my brain trying to help on this stacks of unid gear and these incredible amount of research notes I need for the full set lol
…is there a slow way to get rid of unidentified gear? Don’t you just identify a stack, then bulk salvage by rarity?
@@mojojojo123 yeah, it does take quite a lot of research notes. I wish you the best of luck with your set though!
@@piedpiper1172 I sell all of my greens to a vendor because I don't have a runecrafters salvage kit, so it takes a little longer to go through, so if you are lazy and build up like 30-40 stacks like I did, it took me a while to go through all of them 😂
thanks for the help you are a life saver
of course! Happy to help!
ohh bless you laddie i've been strugling a lot with this crap
Glad I could help! yeah its definitely a lot to try and sort through everything. I am doing my best to save everyone Gold!
doing fractals/raids gives you ascended items, change stat them and you get "crafted" version of ascended gear that you can salvage for research notes. they give 250-375 notes per salvage. (i have full lege sets so i don't need ascended gear). never calculated price/note with this, but it's 5 ectos, inscription/insignia and some spirit shards. i don't count asc gear since it just takes space in bank :D
No way! I didn't realize they counted as "crafted"! I still need to get more into raiding for that armor set, so if I get any, ill be sure to do that! I am curious what the cost would be, but that's a lot of notes!
I have a high level jeweler that I use to generate these from the various gemstone shards and the crap ton of mithril ore that I pick up through my play sessions. I just did this today and ran through two lots of shards and went from 135 research notes to a little over 1000 research notes for a few minutes work. This seems to be the easiest for me since I have tons of these shards and not really anything else to do with them. Not to mention that mithril ore (or ingots) aren't worth much on the TP, so this seems like a better use for them for my use case.
Yeah, thats a great way to do it too! the FAST website shows opportunity cost, but if you already have the resources, they are technically "free"!! I don't craft much normally anyways so I'll ahve to start doing that for my research notes!
I just craft valkyrie barb helms and use the auto salvage at the crafting station, so i dont need research salvage kits. I try to make 2500 helms at a time since u5s very laggy and time consuming lol
I am not going to lie, I had never really paid attention to this because I don't craft items that often. Thank you so much!
Very helpful! Thank you! Also is it OW build? Can you share it please? ❤
Sorry I just want to make sure I understand, I am happy to share anything, when you say OW build, do you mean the armor or the weapons that I talked about? or do you mean the build that my guardian has currently?
Thank you for the reply! Yes, I meant your guardian build 😊
@@lashkul okay good lol, just wanted to make sure before I might have explained the wrong thing XD
So the build as it stands is this:
[&DQEqHy4aGxkmDzgBihJGAUgB/gD+EjIBtRI3AQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADMgA2ADEAAA==]
I havent played this one much recently, so I would have to do some testing before confirming how good it still is, but it was pretty fun the last time I used it!
Great! Thank you!
