I have been watching your videos for the last few months Mark and I'm glad to tell that I passed mine in Hendon last week. Many thanks for your videos.
It can be quite daungting driving on those 60mile roads when they are really bendy/ unsteady. If you drive at around 40 for the comfortablity would this be a serious fault? How likely are you to get a national speed limit/country road in Barnet?
Hi Bob. It is very likely in Barnet. It's difficult to say about the speed as it all depends on what is going on, the road condition etc. I did have one learner fail there but he was sticking to 30 the whole time because he thought it was a good idea since it rained. You can't really do 60 in those roads anyway as they're quite bendy.
given how bendy the road was and the rain what do you think the minimum speed should have been? Cause the driver remained at a very low speed which I don’t think was the best.
Hey Fatima. You can definitely fail for going too slow and someone did fail once in Barnet because they decided to go really slowly because of rain. Having said that, I would be careful about minimum speed. Your speed will depend on lots of things which can change in an instant so setting a minimum speed for yourself isn't advisable. Hope that helps.
I have mine in a few days in Barnet and always go around the places on this route so I’m hoping I get the same route on my test!
Good luck Jay. 😁
Let me know if you pass bro
Omg same so nervous!!! Good luck x
