No I think they are facing towards a flash light, and the devs have previously revealed that their eyes look red when they look at a flash light So catnap being the closes as his both eyes red/orange and the univorn being the furthest away its white
@@kaivalyajoshi5595nope I don’t think so we all have different theories but there are the red and the elephant in the back to the same as the other ones with the white eyes and the red and blue critters eyes are red the white eyes and the red eyes on the right hand a left hand corner are white and red so if your saying since there in the back that’s why there eyes are white but the elephant and the bears eyes are red so we don’t know until the theory will be proven but I can’t say your wrong it’s just a theory .
I think so. Because why go through the trouble to show this shot? The lighting plays a part to hint at something. Picky Piggy & Crafty Corn don't have the red light. More interesting most of the critters are facing each other.
I do have a theory about the trailer, and would like to put my thoughts here: 1.) When the emergency alert goes off, the date is August 8th, 1995. This is the exact same date that we see in the RESTRICTED_relocation_08-08-1995. At 10:59 AM, the cameras cut off. They then come back on exactly 5 minutes later, where kissy missy was freed and all the workers were slaughtered. The broadcast alert comes on at exactly 11:00 AM EST. This was probably the moment that all hell broke loose in the facility and started to rapidly escalate from there. The monster that freed kissy missy could have actually been the prototype, experiment 1006. In chapter 1, we fund a VHS tape with a final log, and a picture of the prototypes hand. Leith Pierre is explaining about the logs he ( and possibly others) have wrote down while spectating the prototypes behavior. Leith explains that 1006 had disassembled an alarm clock and turned it into a laser pointer. After the log is done, Leith is killed by what sounded to be huggy wuggy. 1006 could have figured out how to get into the camera systems, therefore, cutting them in order to cover its tracks during the attack. Based on the shrine dedicated to the prototype (presumably made by catnap because of his obedience towards 1006 in seeing him as some sort of god) the prototype is probably going to be the final monster we have to face in the game. I am excited for chapter 3. Seeing the trailer today was awesome and I cannot wait for what’s to come next in the following weeks!
The one that was chained up is actually one of the smiling critters, most specifically the one we saw chasing us through the padded rooms, as you can tell from the ears! ( The dog, I'm not sure of the name ). However, Chapter 3 looks so good and I can't wait to see you play it!! Keep up the good work Fusion :)
When game devs say they need to delay, im always fine with it. It just means its gonna be REALLY good quality when it comes out! Thanks for making sure its as good as possible, playtime co! Edit, yall, please remember that the devs are trying their best and that it's not easy to make a game! Its not cool to hate them for taking their time and making the game as good as can be, especially if you'd be upset if they realised the game now in an unfinished state! That creature hanging from the chains is dogday. So maybe catnap is taking the other critters hostage while also trying to kill you. The rest of the smiling critters might actually help you in a way that progressively gets you through the chapter.
This new chapter looks so cool and the tone definitely is a lot darker. The way we see the shrine of the toy parts that was teased in the first teaser looks crazy. Dog day is already shown as a threat with him chasing you and seeing catnap is definitely creepy the way he’s so long with a big smiling face and beady white eyes i expected just a big regular cat. I wonder who that was in the jail cell tied up. So far we’ve seen 3 smiling critters alive Catnap, Dogday, and Bobby bearhug from the arg footage. I wonder if the rest will be small like Bobby or if they are bigger like catnap and dogday. I wonder what other threats we will see. Very interesting that we see Poppy and Kissy as allies who want to kill the prototype. I think the one tied up is a smiling critter since it looks like you can see a big smile. So that means not all of the smiling critters aligned themselves with catnap. I’m fine with the game being delayed that just means they want to give us the best experience with minimal flaws anyone wanting them to rush the game can suck it.

i just don't think the characters look scary at all they look like a btec mickey mouse crew/cuddle toys with a demonic smile. I just feel it ruins the whole creepy vibe to this chapter.
I think Poppy has always been trying to help and her weird monolog at the end of chapter 2 was the Prototype, Project playtime showed us that he has a weird telepathic connection to the toys so perhaps he can also use them as "puppets".

Also, he’s tied up on the belly, so I think he got his hands free, tore himself up waist down, and started crawling like Monty. (Or it could just be because he’s in a tube) 6:58 Also, this is CatNap. Gameplay trailer looks awesome, and that one with the ears that is chained up maybe it's DogDay in one of the cells. If it was hungry and only released after the player gets down there it would probably chase after the player. As if someone/something gets too hungry and been in isolation for years they would end up acting on baser instincts.

The chained figure is possibly the rabbit smiling critter (just assuming tho since bunzo is more stout and shorter) although the ears look more like a dog’s ears

@EnjiDenji1177 well tbf Dogday is Catnap's opposite, so Dogday could act either as our ally or as Catnap's right hand man. In the thumbnail of the trailer you can even see Dogday with much longer arms unlike the nubs regular smiling friends usually have.
At 7:06 I noticed that “huggy wuggy” disguised by shadows, walks on 4 limbs, not two, so it might be CatNap since the big catnap (10:40) i noticed stood of four legs, like a cat
Christmas is actually the worst time of year to release a game-literally everybody else tries to meet that deadline at the same time, so there's no question that delaying Chapter Three until after the New Year is the right decision. They already got enough hype going, so it's going to be a big moneymaker no matter what.
Same...I'm an absolute chicken when it comes to horror games so thought the magic of let's plays is the only way I'll see them. I honestly watch it 3x because I have to see fusion & Jacksepticeye because they're both hilarious and I gotta watch Matpat to see how many parts he can stretch it into😂

Hello! I was thinking that based on the lack of fur and the folded triangular ears from the creature chained up at 5:13, it most similarly resembles the smiling critter Picky Piggy. Based on the description of her from the drawing teaser, Picky Piggy "always knows the answer," meaning she could be our key to understanding the other smiling critters or what happened at the orphanage. Also, based on the shorter fur and quadruped stance at 6:50, my first thought was that that creature walking across the screen is catnap rather than huggy wuggy or kissy missy, since it shows catnap standing on all four legs for his monster form at 10:29. Great video though and thank you for analyzing the ARG!!
I’m pretty sure it’s DogDay that has been chained up, if you look in the thumbnail he has cuffs on his wrists which is how the figure was chained in the jailed room. I think CatNap and DogDay have an interesting backstory as they are complete opposites, this will definitely be an interesting chapter 😁
And also fusiongamer 8:17 when ever you go in the red smoke that is actually CAT NAPS Red smoke back when you watched that first cartoon when cat nap used it to make the other smiling critters sleep that’s why we need that gas mask
I have a feeling that the Prototype will probably end up betraying Catnap since we know that it is using the parts of other toys to build itself up to try and achieve its enigmatic goal.
The supoused rescue in that shot not only by kissy but also poppy isn’t odd, think because we rescued her in chapter 2, she wanted to return and she also said that she need us so she need us alive, so i think she is now neutral character, but i kinda shocked that the main antagonist isn’t daddy long legs like many people thought he would
If you look at the smiling critter in this part (9:20) it resembles the DogDay character, so this possibly hints that some smiling critters are evil, and some may be allies.
if you think back to the previous chapter 1 she was in a box full of gas. it might be a stretch but I think the critters use the box and catnap gas to put her to sleep, then all the warnings in the tunnels when Huggy is chasing you they all wrote them probably. i still think Shes evil though, because they're all children but they had to have put her asleep for a reason. AGAIN, this is just my thought process, because the gas is more apparent in the refurbished chapter 1 story play through.

The screenshot is the thing tied up with ears. They both have those straps on their arms like if they are being held. Im theorizing maybe it’s a smiling critter opposite to Catnap which maybe it can play a big role and taking Catnap out. And those legs that were walking is Catnap the have the same knees and length. Also mommy long legs was on the “Gods” left arm.
That's probably DogDay. I feel like the only reason he isn't dead like his friends is because CatNap didn't want to kill him. Maybe emotional attachment? But he didn't obey the Prototype so he still had to be punished, so he locked him up, but let him live.
Honestly, I don't understand how or why some people still think poppyplaytime is a rip off of fnaf or batim. I could see how inspiration could've been taken from batim and maybe a little from fnaf, but it's mostly it's own thing. It has it's own puzzles, characters, story and a completely different style of gameplay. Not to mention they actually seem to have a team that puts effort into the game. (Not saying that fnaf and batim didn’t- but there was definitely a quality dip for security breach) The amount of work put into just chapter 1, the demo, was proof enough to me. I don’t mind that the release date got pushed back. I'm a little bummed, but if it gives them more time to fix bugs and other stuff, I can wait. I'm excited to see what they have for us.
Seeing Huggy get injured from the fall, we may have a chance of seeing him reappear because he can be the main antagonist of the franchise. They probably wouldn’t keep him out of the spotlight.. we are getting new characters introduced to us, but i have a sincere hoping of Huggy returning in show and they aren’t leaving him in the depths for too long. That’s what I’m inspecting about the storyline!
I have been watching the trailer over and over again to see secrets and what i can find in the areas, but there was only one i found. In the beginning of the trailer the player (or someone) watching the tv does not realize what lurks behind them, as you look at the screen to the left you can see something moving on 4 legs to the side. Whoever was watching that TV was being watched by something on 4 legs, maybe it was catnap or one of the other critters.
It’s good to know that I don’t think poppy’s really evil, because we don’t try and attack her/ get revenge for not letting us escape when we see her in the trailer, and she seems to still be guiding us.
DogDay is the one chained up, and the reason he's chasing you I think it's because he believes we're one of the scientists who turned him into a living toy. However, maybe Kissy's able to save us from DogDay and Poppy talks sense into him, and convinces him to help us take down the Prototype. DogDay agrees and he even gives us a hint on how to deal with CatNap.
I actually saw your comment on the video the whole trailer really seals the deal with the vibe of this being a lot more supernatural than the others, can't wait!
Fusion that thing that looks like it’s hanged up to the wall is probably a monster version of dogday. You can tell by the drooping down ears and you can make out his mouth and it might explain later in the trailer where dogday was chasing the player. 5:412:05

5:32 I want to say this is catnap because of the ears and how big it is. Also poppy said that catnap is the biggest out of everyone including huggy wuggy.
Yes, that is Dog-Day. You can also see on the thumbnail image that there are leather straps around his wrists. Another thing being the color palate, the different colors on Dog-Day’s snout, where it changes from orange to yellow, and the ear do resemble dog ears. Why this isn’t Bunzo or Huggy is because Bunzo has a more plush like body, his ears lay back behind his head naturally probably due to them being so long, which is another reason the one tied to the wall isn’t Bunzo. People will have a different opinion on what happened to Huggy, but in my opinion, Huggy couldn’t be tied to a wall. He can easily maneuver his way out, the body tied to the wall wasn’t furry, beaten, tattered at all, or even bloody. Also, another Huggy theory. It’s been said on several auctions that Huggy is to be them most obedient toy created. There are a few reason why Huggy would be hostile. 1. The toys need to eat, Huggy escaped the factory looking for food. The 2nd reason is one I don’t think anyone really thinks of. Due to Huggy’s obedience, what if he was just doing his job? Loading the green tape at the beginning of chapter 1, Leigh Pierre calls Player a “trespasser” while also alerting us of other way they deal with intruders, Huggy! I see Huggy as the “security guard.” Everything was propped up for the “intruder.” The only way trough the door to Huggy was the blue GrabPack hand, all the doors are locked, the door you try to open you.ll see has faulty wires if you look back at it, it was destined to fail, and think about the convince that Huggy had a key, he’d have to have more keys because he loves and unlocks doors to let the Player through, or block them from going to far. I’ll cut the “rant” here, sorry for the story, i didn’t realize I typed so much.
7:00 I actually think that’s catnap because if you look closely you can see a third and forth leg. Catnap is seen on four legs at the end of that trailer, so that should be him. To add to that, there is red fumes in the air AND it’s very dark in the room. 14:05 I stand upon another stance, it might be dog day who’s there in the trailer, though I highly doubt it due to the lack of fur looks on him. Now with that, the fur on whatever it is, is simply too short for huggy wuggy or kissy missy. So I still highly think it’s catnap but I could be very wrong. 😅
5:21 is the elephant because you can see his trunk dangle with the shadow so he might help us because he’s a heritek (if I spelled that correct I mean he’s against the prototype).

Honestly I think the fake landscape with the mountains and the house is probably “Home Sweet Home” is not meant to recreate the outside world but actually recreate Smiling Critters world with mountains and blue sky and entire of landscapes. I could be wrong but it seems like that especially with Smiling Critters cartoon presence. Also the toy in the cell is DogDay as one of bigger bodies at this moment 5:33 who’s probably one of if not only “heretic” in Catnaps eyes and was or is being tortured by Catnap for standing against the prototype. Might of even tried to kill the prototype considering the stand DogDay’s in.

I actually was kind of disappointed, but, I do understand how you want to make sure that the game looks great before releasing, sot hat fans don't think that they rushed to make the game. I'm still very hyped for this game, and very excited for what it's gon bring. Also, I really love how they decided to make the game edgier, and appeal to more older ages, instead of trying to make it so that they can appeal to all ages, just to have more game revenue.

The statue must be a recreation of the prototype. The dog smiley is chained to a wall, I think the dog and the unicorn are considered “heretics” in catnaps eyes.

Imagine they add Cat Nap in project playtime and every person you perm kill it turns them into a smile critter(cap naps choice) and to attacks other players but with less damge and each with differnt abilitys.(cat nap will have two powerful abilities while the others have one and do less damage)

At around 4:56 if you look near the arm on towards the bottom center further right you can Mommys hand and her body behind the huggy wuggy plushy tying back to her last few lines at the end of chapter 2 where she screams "he'll make me part of him!" I'm assuming the he'll is catnap and the him she's fusing with if the prototype
I'm not really seein any comments about this (and I'm a bit late), so I'm just gonna say this now: at 0:52 (You can really see it at 0:59), if you look very closely at the TV's reflection, you can see what appears to be CatNap's lengthy legs as he walks by- I think that's pretty freakin cool and I just really wanted to point it out. However, this chapter just looks amazing so far, and I can't wait to see more!

Gameplay trailer looks awesome, and that one with the ears that is chained up maybe it's DogDay in one of the cells. If it was hungry and only released after the player gets down there it would probably chase after the player. As if someone/something gets too hungry and been in isolation for years they would end up acting on baser instincts.
the shadow figure walking across before the kissy missy part is likely catnap, since at the end it shows that catnap is lanky and tall like huggy but on all fours. The chained figure is possibly the rabbit smiling critter (just assuming tho since bunzo is more stout and shorter) although the ears look more like a dog’s ears

@EnjiDenji1177 well tbf Dogday is Catnap's opposite, so Dogday could act either as our ally or as Catnap's right hand man. In the thumbnail of the trailer you can even see Dogday with much longer arms unlike the nubs regular smiling friends usually have.

Christmas is actually the worst time of year to release a game-literally everybody else tries to meet that deadline at the same time, so there's no question that delaying Chapter Three until after the New Year is the right decision. They already got enough hype going, so it's going to be a big moneymaker no matter what.

Hello! I was thinking that based on the lack of fur and the folded triangular ears from the creature chained up at 5:13, it most similarly resembles the smiling critter Picky Piggy. Based on the description of her from the drawing teaser, Picky Piggy "always knows the answer," meaning she could be our key to understanding the other smiling critters or what happened at the orphanage.
Also, based on the shorter fur and quadruped stance at 6:50, my first thought was that that creature walking across the screen is catnap rather than huggy wuggy or kissy missy, since it shows catnap standing on all four legs for his monster form at 10:29.

I’m pretty sure it’s DogDay that has been chained up, if you look in the thumbnail he has cuffs on his wrists which is how the figure was chained in the jailed room. I think CatNap and DogDay have an interesting backstory as they are complete opposites, this will definitely be an interesting chapter 😁

I have a feeling that the Prototype will probably end up betraying Catnap since we know that it is using the parts of other toys to build itself up to try and achieve its enigmatic goal.
Holy balls this Chapter really does look intensely dark and actually scary as hell! That crawling Dogday gave me chills!
The supoused rescue in that shot not only by kissy but also poppy isn’t odd, think because we rescued her in chapter 2, she wanted to return and she also said that she need us so she need us alive, so i think she is now neutral character, but i kinda shocked that the main antagonist isn’t daddy long legs like many people thought he would
If you look at the smiling critter in this part (9:20) it resembles the DogDay character, so this possibly hints that some smiling critters are evil, and some may be allies.
Some could be infected by the gas, but we could probably save them

if you think back to the previous chapter 1 she was in a box full of gas. it might be a stretch but I think the critters use the box and catnap gas to put her to sleep,
then all the warnings in the tunnels when Huggy is chasing you they all wrote them probably. i still think Shes evil though, because they're all children but they had to have put her asleep for a reason. AGAIN, this is just my thought process, because the gas is more apparent in the refurbished chapter 1 story play through.

The screenshot is the thing tied up with ears. They both have those straps on their arms like if they are being held. Im theorizing maybe it’s a smiling critter opposite to Catnap which maybe it can play a big role and taking Catnap out. And those legs that were walking is Catnap the have the same knees and length. Also mommy long legs was on the “Gods” left arm.
That's probably DogDay. I feel like the only reason he isn't dead like his friends is because CatNap didn't want to kill him. Maybe emotional attachment? But he didn't obey the Prototype so he still had to be punished, so he locked him up, but let him live.
Honestly, I don't understand how or why some people still think poppyplaytime is a rip off of fnaf or batim. I could see how inspiration could've been taken from batim and maybe a little from fnaf, but it's mostly it's own thing.
It has it's own puzzles, characters, story and a completely different style of gameplay. Not to mention they actually seem to have a team that puts effort into the game. (Not saying that fnaf and batim didn’t- but there was definitely a quality dip for security breach) The amount of work put into just chapter 1, the demo, was proof enough to me.
I don’t mind that the release date got pushed back. I'm a little bummed, but if it gives them more time to fix bugs and other stuff, I can wait. I'm excited to see what they have for us.

Seeing Huggy get injured from the fall, we may have a chance of seeing him reappear because he can be the main antagonist of the franchise. They probably wouldn’t keep him out of the spotlight.. we are getting new characters introduced to us, but i have a sincere hoping of Huggy returning in show and they aren’t leaving him in the depths for too long. That’s what I’m inspecting about the storyline!
He is the mascot of the franchise, not the main enemy (prototype) or the face (Poppy)

7:02 this looks a lot like catnap in my opinion since there’s 4 legs and it’s less hairy.
I have been watching the trailer over and over again to see secrets and what i can find in the areas, but there was only one i found. In the beginning of the trailer the player (or someone) watching the tv does not realize what lurks behind them, as you look at the screen to the left you can see something moving on 4 legs to the side. Whoever was watching that TV was being watched by something on 4 legs, maybe it was catnap or one of the other critters.
It’s good to know that I don’t think poppy’s really evil, because we don’t try and attack her/ get revenge for not letting us escape when we see her in the trailer, and she seems to still be guiding us.

DogDay is the one chained up, and the reason he's chasing you I think it's because he believes we're one of the scientists who turned him into a living toy. However, maybe Kissy's able to save us from DogDay and Poppy talks sense into him, and convinces him to help us take down the Prototype. DogDay agrees and he even gives us a hint on how to deal with CatNap.

Yes, that is Dog-Day. You can also see on the thumbnail image that there are leather straps around his wrists. Another thing being the color palate, the different colors on Dog-Day’s snout, where it changes from orange to yellow, and the ear do resemble dog ears. Why this isn’t Bunzo or Huggy is because Bunzo has a more plush like body, his ears lay back behind his head naturally probably due to them being so long, which is another reason the one tied to the wall isn’t Bunzo. People will have a different opinion on what happened to Huggy, but in my opinion, Huggy couldn’t be tied to a wall. He can easily maneuver his way out, the body tied to the wall wasn’t furry, beaten, tattered at all, or even bloody. Also, another Huggy theory. It’s been said on several auctions that Huggy is to be them most obedient toy created. There are a few reason why Huggy would be hostile. 1. The toys need to eat, Huggy escaped the factory looking for food. The 2nd reason is one I don’t think anyone really thinks of. Due to Huggy’s obedience, what if he was just doing his job? Loading the green tape at the beginning of chapter 1, Leigh Pierre calls Player a “trespasser” while also alerting us of other way they deal with intruders, Huggy! I see Huggy as the “security guard.” Everything was propped up for the “intruder.” The only way trough the door to Huggy was the blue GrabPack hand, all the doors are locked, the door you try to open you.ll see has faulty wires if you look back at it, it was destined to fail, and think about the convince that Huggy had a key, he’d have to have more keys because he loves and unlocks doors to let the Player through, or block them from going to far. I’ll cut the “rant” here, sorry for the story, i didn’t realize I typed so much.

7:00 I actually think that’s catnap because if you look closely you can see a third and forth leg. Catnap is seen on four legs at the end of that trailer, so that should be him. To add to that, there is red fumes in the air AND it’s very dark in the room.
14:05 I stand upon another stance, it might be dog day who’s there in the trailer, though I highly doubt it due to the lack of fur looks on him. Honestly I think the fake landscape with the mountains and the house is probably “Home Sweet Home” is not meant to recreate the outside world but actually recreate Smiling Critters world with mountains and blue sky and entire of landscapes. I could be wrong but it seems like that especially with Smiling Critters cartoon presence. Also the toy in the cell is DogDay as one of bigger bodies at this moment 5:33 who’s probably one of if not only “heretic” in Catnaps eyes and was or is being tortured by Catnap for standing against the prototype. Might of even tried to kill the prototype considering the stand DogDay’s in.
6:14 I think Huggy Wuggy will most likely come back in the chapter because of this part, I’m not 100% sure tho.

I had a feeling that they were going to delay the game. I actually was kind of disappointed, but, I do understand how you want to make sure that the game looks great before releasing, sot hat fans don't think that they rushed to make the game. I'm still very hyped for this game, and very excited for what it's gon bring.
Also, I really love how they decided to make the game edgier, and appeal to more older ages, instead of trying to make it so that they can appeal to all ages, just to have more game revenue.

I'm not really seein any comments about this (and I'm a bit late), so I'm just gonna say this now: at 0:52 (You can really see it at 0:59), if you look very closely at the TV's reflection, you can see what appears to be CatNap's lengthy legs as he walks by- I think that's pretty freakin cool and I just really wanted to point it out. However, this chapter just looks amazing so far, and I can't wait to see more!
