    You have the best approach I've seen so far. I did this model in the 60's but don't know what happened to it. Now I'm going to approach it with some adult skills.

    Turned out amazing! Another thing from my childhood back in the early 70s. Used to love this guy, still do I guess. Had a big black light poster of him. Lol. Those were the days. Thanks so much for sharing!

    I built another one of Ed Roths monster hot rod. Monster looked great. Only thing i was not happy with was the driver sat way to high. Tires on box were huge but when I looked inside they weren't the size that were on box cover. I looked thru spare parts and found the Meister brau tractor pull model. I grounded the treads away, did a little axle adjustments and it looked killer. Also changed legs to sitting position and it looked like the box drawing. That orange color you used is pretty cool looking. Thanks!

    What a great build and not an air brush in sight. Just goes to show what you can achieve with a spray can. I remember seeing those kits in my local hobby store in the late 60's but I never bought any. I'd love to have a go at one now.

    Fun to watch. Did this type of stuff as a kid. Shelf space is at a premium & my interests are quite vast. I like checking out kits I have no intention of doing but, still curious. Plus to thrill over the stellar work you do. I've seen some sweet stuff done on this subscription. Seams are no big issue with me either. I try to do them, but, now we have plastic putty. Good stuff.

    That's pretty cool!👍 I watched your review and build of the Peterbilt tow truck and it gave me an idea for the paint scheme for the Mack r685st semi tractor I'm building. I'm gonna paint it yellow and dark blue just like the Peterbilt tow truck. I'll be posting pics of it on the Scale Auto Magazine website. Keep up the good work and God bless!👍😁

    Man I was hoping you'd do an Ed Big Daddy Roth kit ! He was always someone I looked up to in the Hot Rod/art work world since I love Hot Rods and I do artwork myself. I hope one day they do a kit of the Sidewalk Surfer. He was a character creation of Ed Big Daddy Roth who rode around on a Hot Rod skateboard ! I was a skateboarder for many years until I got old. Lol. I'm currently working on a Lindberg 34 Ford Pickup truck kit I picked up at a bargain store for 10 bucks. I have the paint work almost completed on it. Still have to do a little more painting. I work 5 days a week so it's hard for me to find time to do continuous work on my models. I usually have to wait until I get a day off and have no other plans. And I am just getting over a bad sinus infection so I haven't felt well. Sorry I haven't been commenting on your channel Chris. Not only have I been sick but I have been having issues with my internet. And yes, Mr. Gasser's mouth probably DOES smell the same way ass his butt ! Lol.

    Can you tell me if you use the Simple Green at full strength to get the 'mold release' off the parts, and what kind of primer (the black you used on the whole model) do you use on these plastic models? Thanks. I'm just getting back to model building, doing a compos-kit build with Drag Hag and a '32 Ford hot rod kit custom build.

    I can't wait till you do a full build review of the 1/600 scale R.M.S. Titanic by Revell Germany!.I have built the 1/570 scale version of the kit by Revell USA,and it is a pain in the ass;to fill in the big seam that is visible where the stern section of the hull halves,gets glued together;as it requires a lot of milliput two part epoxy putty,and sculpting with sculpting tools;to get the hull plate texture,to scale!.You should do full build reviews on Revell Germany's Kenworth K100 Aerodyne COE in 1/32 scale,and Revell Germany's 1:600 scale SS United States.

    • @hpiguy
      @hpiguy  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @devinrussell2372 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hpiguy Thanks man.Hopefully this new 1/600 scale of the R.M.S. Titanic will have the hull molded as one piece like the 1/600 scale S.S. United States.I have built Revell Germany's 1/600 scale S.S. United States;and it is an easy kit to build.
      It was a really fun kit to paint, and cement/super glue;together.I used the boxart;to fully rig it using 00 sized thread,and a .80 sized drill bit in my pen vise,and super glue;accelerator & baking soda for when I have run out of accelerator;or if I have spilled it by accident,and it turned out beautifully.

    Um dos mais difíceis de montar . Tenho 5 deles mais este não . Quando criança chamava ele de Mer Gazer ( devido a minha língua ser o português - do Brasil ) . O meu primeiro foi o Angel Fink que chamava de bruxa , o segundo foi o superfink e o terceiro foi o surfink ( isso na década de 70 ) . Depois de velho comprei novamente estes 3 ( que já não tinha mais ) mais o Fink Eliminator e o Scuz Fink .
