It's an older boat but so well appointed and it's beautiful inside and out. Thanks David for posting this video of Victoria Del Mar.
i like this yacht the more i look at her. a nautical interior without being overly so. i wouldn't be surprised if a charter guest decided to buy her for a few years of private family use, a great owner space for long term living aboard. and a great name.
All those chunky dark or red or what looking wood... i`m 41 years of age and still feel not quite old enough for that, looks like at my grand parents... reminds me of a gentleman's yacht. I´m happy that enough people like this style, so she won´t be on the market for long!

I really enjoy hearing the views of the brokers and Wes' knowledge was remarkable. The Geek in me was sorry not to see the engine room though!
She has a really nice and flexible layout 😊 Unfortunately, while interesting to hear the broker's remarks, we get to see little of her, and none of the crew spaces at all 😕
Beautiful yacht but I'm curious if she has at anchor stabilization. The reason I ask is that at the beginning of this video VDM seemed to be rolling quite a lot at anchor and if the master cabin is that high it may be uncomfortable.
Hi Glen, thanks for watching and commenting. Even with zero-speed stabilizers yachts still roll. The stabilizers will reduce the roll to a degree that it is not so uncomfortable, but when the sea moves...so does the yacht.
@@Yachtsforsaleblog so what you are saying David is what we really need is some machine, a device, a doohickey although a doohickey may be a little small for the task at hand, that stops the sea from moving. 😊

1:45 Master suite on the same level as the Bridge. Nice. Personally I like this lay out.
I guess the question everyone would want to know is, since it's fiberglass construction, how would this yacht do in artic conditions if you wanted to do the North Sea exploration around Norway and Sweden for example, or taking it to the Drake Passage to see Antarctica? How tough is modern fiberglass construction really?
Personally, I would be somewhat apprehensive about taking a composite boat through the Drake Passage. I have no doubt this boat is very well built and would be fine. Modern composite construction is so much better than in the "old" days. If your goal is to travel in ice conditions an ice-rated steel hull is the way to go. Of course, that is just my opinion.
@@kokomo9764 I agree. But I know some people take all aluminum sailboats and catamarans, as well as some yachts but I would never want to be be in a fiberglass yacht in artic conditions where ice is possible. Granted you can get an ice pilot and they take them to Alaska all the time, there is a well equipped Coast Guard to come rescue you in Alaska. Imsure well be told that this yacht isn't built or intended for that purpose.
As hard as I tried, I couldn't find anything that I didn't like or didn't impress me.
A superb yacht. Great layout for the guest suites. Loved the balcony on the upper floor for guests. Plus the owners personal suite with private balcony.

We always hear, 'this yacht has great charter potential' and while this is obviously true here, where would you put this yacht to maximize its charter revenue? When you buy a yacht such as this and decide to charter it out, how do you determine where to put the yacht? There's the typical spring/summer med season then winter in the Caribbean, but who really comes up with the 'we need to be based here for maximum revenue'?
I don't think I've seen two VIPs on the main deck on any yacht under $70 mil before! While I really like the elevator (almost a must for me, definitely a must for my parents), is there a side deck entrance as well? The stern looks like it has a pretty steep climb. With a fiberglass hull, that seems to eliminate the chances of going to the North or South Poles. Thanks for the video.

David, What are the requirements for a boat to be accepted by N&J on it's sale/charter list or do you accept any boat?

A floating resort with lots of space except for a swim platform. Is there more there than it appears?
It's got about 3-4' for a platform that you can see at 5:16. And with the water toys seen at 5:10, there looks to be a floating platform.
