i been watching the saints for awhile now and i never seen the saints kick 6 field goals and score zero touchdowns in a game. carr didnt even take 1 shot/pass to the endzone. i dont know if its the play calling/OC, carr, dennis preparing the team for a game, or everybody and everything. something is seriously messed up. what baffles me is why arent the saints org doing nothing about it?? literally insane.
I never understood signing Carr to the Saints. He did nothing with Davante Adams or anyone before that. Why people still think that he is starting QB material after all these years. Of course he is better than this clown Ridder in the Birds so it could be worse but that doesn't mean much. If there is no pressure on him then he is solid but as soon as there is some pressure he folds like swiss cheese.
I live in Vegas and I got to watch Carr play in person a few times. I can't tell you how frustrating it was seeing exactly that. Carr isn't horrible (Horrible is someone like Zach Wilson or Mac Joens) but he's not gonna get you anywhere. Your best bet is being a first round playoff exit unless you have an elite defense, which neither the Raiders or NOLA have. I agree on the coaching too though. That's the first thing you gotta change.
Carr is a great QB. He can play fantastic drives. But he always struggles when they are able to put pressure on him. He then becomes Mac Jones all of a sudden and throws some horrible things.

GM on the other side giving out 100s of millions to washed up QBs like its the lottery. Couldn't even score in the redzone if the defense had its hands tied behind its back. It's pains me to see as a Saints fan but I can only imagine how painful it is for all the talented guys on the squad who work they tails off for it weekly. Enough is enough.

Cutting him after this year is impossible and no one would take his contract. After 2024 the cap hit would be $52m, which is insanity. That means in order to get under the cap they would have to re-structure his contract, making it more likely they'll keep him longer. So he's around through 2025 in at least.

the key to Ridder to getting better, was being able to use legs, instead of just waiting for the sack, he is now a dual threat when he runs. Generally runs for less than 10 yards a game.

the key to Ridder to getting better, was being able to use legs, instead of just waiting for the sack, he is now a dual threat when he runs. Generally runs for less than 10 yards a game.
