Schultz really turned into a great acquisition. Having a great tight end really opens up the passing game.
No disrespect to schultz. He's been a help to this team no doubt. He's dropped too many passes. I think next year they need to recruit a new tight end & keep him as a backup.

Stroud did throw his first interception but he's still been looking good. Every game he looks better and if he can keep doing that the Texans could be a Wild Card team. I'm not going to get too hopeful about that because we're still in the middle of a rebuild, but if they can keep building the team around CJ, the Texans will be better than they ever have been within the next few years.
They will easily win the AFC South.

Man, Coach DeMeco Ryans deserve all praises for building such a hungry defence, you can tell the ex-player trait is paying off. Take off a few of those turnovers and stops they've created and I don't think this offence operates on this "we can win" mentality. It still has its flaws but its doing a hell of a solid job.

Love that the Texans are now being taken serious but stroud just gots to work on his reads and know when to throw away the ball. I've been watching the Texans all year trying to figure out why the Cowboys didn't keep Dalton Schultz..and be on the look out for Robert Woods potententially bouncing back this year getting good production since the injury
Basically Stroud can do it with anyone. But these guys are showing why they are elite vets.
Cause schultz can’t block and cowboys didn’t have the cap to pay him. He’s great at finding open space and has solid hands perfect for cj to have as a security blanket.

This Texans team reminds me of Detroit like 1-2 seasons ago. They are on their way to being a real contender.
I've started to like this Houston team a little. I can't rember the last time an Ohio State QB made a meaningful impact on the NFL. Stroud has impressed me so far. He doesn't look like he's overwhelmed like B. Young does. It's early though.
6 games into the season is not early. Dude is a beast. I like his skill set and ability to process defenses fast. Very good decision maker.

@@pon372exactly, the Saints had 3 red zone trips and had 6 or 7 drives in Houston territory and they got all of 13 points. We can what if all day and say “well if they weren’t god awful in that area, this would’ve been a 31 or 34-20 game.” Unfortunately, this is reality and they did about as bad as an offense can.

As a saints fan I don’t know what to think at this point, we had so many opportunities to win this game but failed at just about every single one of them. It’s gonna be a weird rest of the season for them with how up and down they’ve been.
I've kinda given up at this point, I want us to do well but I sincerely think that it's not possible with Allen at the helm. Derek Carr is the quarterback Dennis Allen wanted. Pete Carmichael and Doug Marrone were the coaches he was most comfortable pinning his career on. He was given the NFL's easiest schedule and he's lucky to be 3-3. This is who he is and this is what his team is.
