    Claire there is such valuable information here!! You have totally hit on some of the biggest mistakes we make! Like you, I don’t believe in holding back in the initial consultation . I want to provide as much value as possible in our time together. Also...re. the “walk through”, the video in your Rock the Consult package does a great job of showing designers how to avoid wasting time with this part of the consultation (I found it super helpful seeing and hearing how you handle that scenario).

    Great video. It's true that clients like to give tours of their homes and if one doesn't take charge the consultation can easily be all over the place and almost ineffective. I agree, it can be tricky to strike a balance between giving too much and too little info in the consultation.

      Exactly!! It's understandable that client's are a little all over the place, it's usually a big deal when people have someone else come into their home. Thanks for watching!

    Always great advice. I actually purchased Claire's 'Rock The Consult' package a couple of years back and it was illuminating how many things I have changed in my process since investing in the course. I used to do 'the tour' and wasted so much time in the process, where I could have added better value. A good one to avoid. Thanks Claire! Great tips..I'm using em!

    Great information Claire! Question. Do you still have your Product Guides that you refer too in the video?

    • @ClaireJefford
      @ClaireJefford  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Doug! Cheers for reaching out. Is it the Pricing Guides that I refer to when managing client expectations? If so, we actually pulled those for the time being as we wanted to update pricing to reflect more current numbers for furnishings today. Some of the projects were older and required price increases, we just haven't had a chance to do those yet!
