The one note idea is fantastic. Plus, instead of redrawing maps, you can just copy them there (I suppose, will try later..)

The haunting was my first scenario as GM more than 20 years ago and it is probably the best scenario to start ever. Easily to control, gives the players a taste of the game and makes a selection who will be a player of CoC and who won't. Great choice.

That's awesome. I love how this scenario has been around for a while, almost like a rite of passage for CoC players.

The section on using OneNote to organize my Keeper Notes is gold! I’ve running games for decades but I’ve always had my notes handwritten on paper. Thank you so much for the advice!

So glad you found this helpful. I love OneNote. Not only is it helpful for organizing but I always have my notes on me. So if I get an idea while I'm somewhere random, I can pop the notes up on my phone and write my idea down.

Hi, i just recently started trying to write a campaign in CoC system. I loved those One Note tips, def gonna change how I do my notes. I look forward to ur future videos. I do have a question though. What is your opinion on a good length for a campaign in CoC? I was shooting for at least 4-5 sessions but not sure if thats too short.

OneNote has made such a positive difference for my organizing for campaigns. Glad the tips helped you out!
Great question on campaign length. I would first check in with your players to see what their appetite is for length. If they're open to anything, I think a sweet spot is around 5 sessions. This gives enough time to develop NPCs and an unraveling plot that requires a good bit of investigation. That being said, this assumes you are not playing open world/ multiple locations. If you expect your players to fully investiage and explore, let's say, Scotland and then all of a sudden switch to Egypt and you have to re-establish culture and NPCs, that's going to feel rushed. Recommendation is at least 3 sessions in each location if you are planning more open world.

I would love to play CoC. My problem is no players. How do I find players . since I am nube senior(73) . I thought about online , but what equipment do I need and which system do I use?

Great questions! I talk about how to find other players in this video: th-cam.com/video/955T5SFh9OY/w-d-xo.html
In the description are links to sites that make this easy. I would recommend systems like Roll20 or discord but the group you decide to play with likely already has a preference so I would recommend finding a group first! As for equipment, you would either need a webcam that can receive audio but some players only use voice (no video). In this case a standard headset with a microphone would suffice. Good luck finding a group to explore the hobby with!
