      Sir, I do agree with you. My father earned a lot in his life but most of the money was spent on the kids and wife of my deceased uncle. The eldest son of my deceased uncle got government job of his father. He was able to make a second home because his money was saved because my father had made them a home. And today, I have been earning fine in Bengaluru but I can't buy a house because of my father's mischiefs. I am not saying that I won't be able to do so, but it will take some years.

    This has been my personal philosophy in life -- If your parents force you to do something and then disown you in failure then it's better to just take the risk and go against them and do what you want to do. Because at the end of the day, if you win you'll know it was on your conviction and if you fail, you'll know you tried. This is a situation where you have nothing to loose. So do what you want to do>>>> what your parents want you to do. Because if you fail in both, they'll put the blame solely on you.

      Most of the time when you are young you do not have the absolute confidence to power your way against the opinions of people especially if they are successful and older. The least they can do is to stay out but parents sometimes push kids in a certain direction and then ridicule and criticize when they take time

    Best example is my mother, always emotionally blackmailing... who constantly remainds me of the scarifices they did to bring me and my sister even at my age of 34..My dad was a top level central govt official yet we were never demanding as kids, never asked for any materialistic things. We actually lived like a lower middle class people even though we had money. They only had to spend towards our education yet my mother constantly keeps cribbing even today... after a point in my life i decided not to be financially dependent on them or else i will have to keep listening to her expenses of looking after me.... With her passing age i feel its becoming too difficult to adjust with my mom...

      Ignore them. I tried to make my mother understand that her constant nagging isn't helping anybody. Still she continues to do so. The problem is that middle class parents, after a certain period of time, they don't want to change or to keep up-to-date themselves with their surroundings. This creates a huge problem for us.
      So now, just say yeah yeah and mind your own business. Try to find a new home for yourself. I'm doing the same for myself.
      My parents didn't allow me to learn driving until the age of 28 just because they were scared. Now imagine.

I would have been very successful in my career if I had good in-laws. Food for thought: I & my husband will always support our child and future daughter in law "jab tak hain jaan" without expecting anything in return from our younger generation because unconditional and selfless parenthood is when you don't expect anything in return. Sir, I want to know why parents favour and pamper younger siblings and invest more on them while ignoring the eldest children and ask them to do it alone. One example, is a parent send thier youngest son to USA to study by spending around ₹ 55 lakhs. While cussing thier elder son that he was weak in studies so cannot take any risk to spend money. I checked the marks of these brothers and they have between 60 to 70 percent. Now the younger son has a good job and the elder is jobless. Kindly need your views and advice.

  • @alameludevanathan7399
    @alameludevanathan7399 ปีที่แล้ว +16

    Your advice is correct. But there is a catch. A good athlete will succeed with a good team. But the athlete should have to basically put the effort - if he doesn't work, no team effort can make them succeed. Same way, if the child doesn't put any effort and says they are failure because of parents not helping them, that doesn't have any point then. Bad can't be made best, may be can be made average.
    Also there is a tendency about comparison - other parent did better for the child and you didn't do it for me etc from the children. Parents shouldn't compare their children with others and similarly, children also shouldn't compare their parents with other parents. No two people face the same issues.

    • @ameyapatil2424
      @ameyapatil2424 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Parents need to create a conducive environment for the children so that children will grow automatically.
      Example: If u take care of good sunlight, water, good soil, for a plant, then now flower will automatically bloom.
      Take care, give them small challenges so they learn decision making, give right investment mindsets, right knowledge.

      @@anilbakshi4505 I am a lawyer and I am not the son, the son’s wife who is writing here. Will was hidden only from the sons , original is with the sister. Papa and mother was under our care only. We are paying 25000 per month since 2008 till 2012 then 15000 since 2012 till date
      I am a daughter as well, my parents deducted the value of gold which was given to me during the time of marriage, from the due share I was supposed to get.
      I am happy with whatever my parents gave me ie only one tenth of their property. My brother inherited the rest of all property from my father with my full consent.
      My husband and his brother are gem of persons.
      Sister inlaw and mother in law arm twisted father to write a will so that sister inlaw gets some more from whatever little is left out. Any way parents should treat children equally and not biased
      Whatever you feel you can express.

    That’s very true sir, If you get success and listen to your parents then it was all done by your parents and if not then it was fault on your part that you didn’t listen us having said that, “agar humari baat suni hoti toh yeh naubat hi nahi aati”
    Getting failure in my career, again I restarted and at this juncture, my parents are pressuring for marriage ki Umar ho rahi hai shaadi kar aur jaa. Apart from this I told them before connecting with your channel I had this mindset ki jo paisa aap samaaj ko dikhane ke liye kharch kar rahe ho give it to me I’ll buy a property or invest it somewhere. Parents really don’t understand that how deal with these tiny issues and these such things could lead to major problems in our lives

      I had face same issue. My parents love feeding 30 40 relatives and brag about it but would not want to even spend for further education of kids. Somehow me and my sister stopped expecting, coz most Indian parents are very emotionally neglectful to their kids but use kids for their own image.
