Waiting is part of the delivery game. The person that you are waiting for is not part of the delivery game. They are just riding the clock until quitting time. Happens all the time.
👍 Not just because they're on the clock. Sometimes they need to verify things. Sometimes product is not ready. Sometimes there's ppwk to wait for as things happen fast in expediting and if someone drops the ball somewhere along the way it needs to be figured out. There's many reasons why it can be a wait time too. Depends on shipper or receiver.
I’m looking to get a sprinter van, I’m considering trading in my pickup. Would signing on to Eagle Express be an option for work? Or do you guys hire on an as needed basis ?
@@Eagle-Xpress Я тоже в процессе покупки вэна сейчас. Extended, high roof sprinter. Так-же ищу компанию с которой есть возможность подписать контракт. Если у Вас будут открыты позиции - как можно с Вами связаться?
Eagle Xpress is a carrier that is set up with a network of brokers. Some loads we bid on. Some get offered from brokers. Some get emailed from brokers. After you're in business for a long time people begin to know you and rely on you for hauling freight.
Yea on short miles that's what's being paid. But everyone wants Wong miles so u can make more money. 800 plus miles. And on the good long miles nobody pays those rates for long miles. Only the short ones that nobody wants to waste time on.
@@Eagle-Xpresson any given day, my dispatcher says get ready to take loads at 8:00 in the morning. I get no winning bids all day, but come 4:00 in the afternoon he says why not take this 600-900 mile direct route?

If you're lacking sleep and feel fatigued u should not be driving. Common sense... Every drivers fatigue is different.
U think you have the answer for everything but you really don't
