Consuming ragi regularly can can promote a natural skin glow. Ragi is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, such as Vitamin B3, Vitamin E, Iron and Antioxidants. Also ragi's high fiber content helps detoxify the body, which can also helps to glowing skin!😊

I will definatly try yur recipes. I also liked and subscribed yur channel. Love to see you and your intro video.🙂
Goes well with south indian sambhar. Choose any of these below😊😊 Amaranth sambhar recipe: th-cam.com/video/YNbaFMgtn3E/w-d-xo.html Vegetable sambhar: th-cam.com/video/OBoCgpqOl04/w-d-xo.html Lobia with papaya sambhar: th-cam.com/video/xRE8gfm05Tw/w-d-xo.html
Yes you can. Ragi mudde is the main food in Kolar, Mandya, Hassan, Mysore, Tumkur districts in Karnataka and Rayalaseema Region in Andhra Pradesh. As ragi is low in fat and high in protein, its daily consumption can promote weight loss and control blood sugar level.
I come from a family of ragi growers and traditional muddle eaters, from south Karnataka. Even now we eat ragi muddle every afternoon for lunch. I watched how you make with interest, as it is clear that you are not a traditional muddle maker nor eater. No problem though, as your method seems to work well. Perhaps for new ragi fans your method is safer than ours, which needs a bit of skill in order to make smooth muddle without lumps. We use guava tree stump for making the muddle Kolu, and use rough stone for rolling the ragi balls. We don’t add salt or ghee / oil to muddle, as it takes its taste entirely from the curry / sambar… May I suggest that you smear a little water onto the plate before rolling the balls? That way it won’t stick to the plate. In som3 districts of Karnataka like chikkamagalur people use a wooden bowl like gadget to made muddle, which are soft but not necessarily round. Finally I must ask how you eat muddle, as in the video I see you taking some pieces of vegetables along with a piece of muddle. We swallow ragi muddle, as chewing is impossible due to its stickiness. But vegetables cannot be swallowed….or do you swallow them too? Or do you chew ragi muddle with veggies? I am just curious. Hope you don’t mind this long comment.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and for sharing your experiences and traditions around ragi mudde😊. Coming from a family of ragi growers, your insights carry so much value and tradition, and I feel honored that you watched my method with interest. Your suggestions are truly helpful, especially smearing water on the plate to prevent sticking-that’s such a practical tip😊 As for how I eat mudde, I usually take a small piece, coat it with curry or sambar, and chew along with vegetables. It’s different from the traditional way of swallowing mudde, and I admire how you maintain the authentic practice. Swallowing ragi mudde does seem like it requires a skill and habit😍, especially since the texture is sticky. I appreciate you sharing your traditional way and will keep it in mind as I explore more about the dish! Thank you again for your lovely message and for spreading your knowledge with such kindness. Sending you lots of love and gratitude for sharing your culture and traditions with me! ❤️

Everything went well until last second qhen you picked it along with the vegetable.... Ragi muddhe has to be gulped dipping in saambhar or any spicy curry... It cant be chewed like a roti or rice to have it with vegetable.. vegetables in the curry/saambhar to be eaten separately....

There are small lumps inside the balls which when broken raw powder is seen, how to avoid it?
Balls might be due to improper preparation or mixing of the dough. Knead it thoroughly while you making the ball.
no need oil?
No oil
no jaggery & nuts ?
