If you summarize it all including their trailers and everything, the song is about them being a trainees turning into an idol/artist. You can especially think of it in Jungwon to Ni-ki's center line "thousands of doubts behind me and more thousands of mistrust behind me but i go now follow my dreams.." and "giving or taking, it's time for my proving".. We all know that this is their debut song and they wanted to spread this meaning to everyone.. Don't fall behind just because their concept is vampire.. It's a meaningful song for those who didn't understand. It's not just about the beat and tempo. This is just my perception..

This is a combination of my thoughts & a person named LR from another comments section...This totally gives off The Promised Neverland vibes (manga/anime). The Promised Neverland is a story that follows a group of orphaned children in their escape plan from an orphanage after they realize a dark secret -they are being cultivated as food. Except here they are cultivated as vampires/kpop idols instead of "food". You could say that the orphanage is the I-Land survival show this group was formed from, where out of 23 contestants only 7 made it. The video shows them being "made" into vampires w/ pills, and getting their fangs/eyes checked, while on I-Land they were "made" into idols. If you've seen both The Promised Neverland & I-Land, this video concept is metaphorically quite brilliant. “The song talks about the metamorphosis they had to go through in order to debut, how their crowns are stained with blood (the contestants who didn't make it), and also questions whether their spot/crown was "given" to them by the show/fans or they "took" it by their hard work.”
Esosa here and yooooooo I totally see the similarities with the anime! The whole vibe inside the orphanage and it’s like the song itself could be a soundtrack for it too. I read someone’s explanation on the page too but I like this combination of theories. That’s pretty cool! Also aesthetically reminded my of the book covers of the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children series. I adore those aesthetics even though they creep me out but in a good way haha 😅😂
