    Looooove your vids! You should show more recipes like this!^^ (i like how the kueh itself is both peranakan yet vegan friendly as well 🙆🙆🙆)
    I recently turned vegan; plant based with no dairy & meat. (due to health issues) and I really miss eating nonya food!:( really look forward to more videos from you, and I hope there will be videos that are peranakan which are vegan friendly ^^

    I really love your kuih videos! So many of the kuih videos remind me of Filipino desserts. This reminds me of suman malagkit :) I'll have to try this version sometime!

    After compressing the rice together, do we need to put in the fridge if we want to use it the next day?

  • @sakuraltt

    Hello,
    You said that you left cooked glutinous rice in the pan over night. Where did you store it? In room temperature or in fridge?

    • @nyonyacooking
      @nyonyacooking  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      uyen hong I left it in room temperature. But be careful to not leave it in a hot area as there is coconut milk and coconut milk turns bad easily. So, if you want to be extra careful, store it in the fridge and once you want to eat it, steam it for 5-10 minutes and it will be soft again ^^

    How long can the pulut tekan last?

    • @SuperSuper147
      @SuperSuper147 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have never tried this before but i imagine not too long because it is rice and with all rice, if you keep it too long it will become hard and dry so i think max 3 days

    • @eileeeenexplores
      @eileeeenexplores 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      SuperSuper147 okay! thank you =)

    • @Rizalreez

      Eileen Low try covering the pulut with plastic wrap..the plastic wrap should stick to the pulut..it helps slowing down loss of moisture..if the pulut dries a bit, you could steam it lightly or spinkle some water on it an microwave it for a few seconds to a minute..
