If a patient's lifestyle is worse off by the medication side effects & he chooses to stop a medication, how would you document this in his records? Patient is non-compliant, or patient stopped meds due to side effects affecting quality of life. I seen a handful of PA's documenting non-compliant & this has me concerned about PA school.
I am not sure what you are asking. Your initial question is about a patient's capacity to chose their own healthcare yet a second question about the profession of medicine itself or specifically an indictment against those providers that did document non-compliance. What is the root question?
"The language of caring".. medicine ! Thank you John.
I want to be you when I grow up John.
Thank you for your videos. As a final year medical student I have to say that your tips and tricks really helpful to all of us, not just the PAs
SaschaGerstner you're not a medical student - never was. Please stop!!!
