I've got an idea for your Caledonian Railway Pugg if you're interested: Ewan was a shunter on the Caledonian Railway and was a close friend to Donald and Douglas. When he found out about the dieselization of their railway, he warned the twins and even gave them the idea for both of them to escape to Sodor together. He was purchased by a heritage railway sometime after the twins left and thus, never knew what became of them. That was until the Fat Controller decided to purchase Ewan after his heritage railway hit hard times. After a joyful reunion with the twins, he works with them on the Little Western.

For the mallard, try either emailing Hornby or make sure you have the tender in the right distance from the locomotive

I have an engine called Oakley (it was more of a roblox project at the time to see if I could improve something pre-made)
and it is actually the same class and it's also blue as Crovan
so that might be interesting to some people
Something I noticed is that Gaugemaster sells OO9 scale 10-12-Ds--so if you want to make the Railway Series Stanley, there is the option.

One day I would love to get into 5 inch gauge live steam models and do something similar, either make real life variations of the RWS characters or perhaps mostly OC based characters but I am aware of how expensive this will be.

I would love to see you do something with an Union Pacific 4014 Big Boy 4-8-8-4 and/or a N&W 611. I personally like your steam models better due to my preference towards steam so yeah.

A true clan of locomotives
Lovomotive Drivers used to put there bikes on the front of the Locomotive, mostly with shunters and short distance engines, but what im thinking you should put a bike on front of Crovan the Shunter.

A grand fleet hope to have one someday. Currently I have two engines both by Bachmann and I plan to buy more in the future so need to start saving up again!

These are really nice models. Are your figures OO or HO, because they look too small to be OO, especially in Crovan's cab, they look like children.
Believe it or not the figure in Crovan is OO, I know there’s a very big difference in OO and HO figure wise but depending on the brand of figure you buy normally you can negate it. I don’t recommend Bachmann figures for Hornby models or something; but there are good work arounds. I find them pretty solid for now, I have a big mix of Peco, Precise, and sooome Woodland Scenics. :)

I see what ya mean, personally I think it’s not too big of a deal though. I have a couple of OO figures I can swap out if need ever be and likely will at some point but I think he looks okay for at least now! :)

I have a 40 year old Tyco shunter called Aztek, and everytime you dont pick him up by the chasis, the shell of the locomotive just flys off, also he doesnt have a back coupling, but I dont blaim the guy cmon hes 40 YEARS OLD haha.
